Well i downloaded it and tried against the AI, Shitty AI.
tried a game against some noob, just rolled into his base with a bunch of infantry and an ATG so ye, hope to play with someone proper later.

I've so it yesterday on gamereplays.org while HelpingHans was streaming a 2v2 with BartonPL. It looked interesting but I'm not sure if I'm really into it.

1vs1s are fantastic. Lots of infantry combat, your upgrades really do matter. Vehicles and Tanks are rare and powerful as it should be.
The trench system is really nice as well. I kinda wish we would take that because its miles of improvement over our current trenches.
And just like any other CoH game, 4p+ Annialiate games are boring as fuck and make you want to put a bullet through your head.

1v1's are probably good yeah. Would mimic early stages of the war where both armies tried outflanking the other.
The Larger team games I think would be too many units on too small a map.

uh, the path to victory for brits is ac and tank spam... not rare at all tbh. and being its supposed to be ww1 its unrealistic as hell.. they should cap oil so u can only have 1 or 2 tanks all game or something..
The trench system is pretty cool, along with other additions such as melee combat and gas with gasmasks. I like the way the game looks and sounds and the inf combat plays well - They did a good job of making it feel like ww1 with that, just the whole tank spam thing is kinda absurd.

idk, i played a couple of games against proper players and even tought the game mecanic is quite impressive EIR is still waaaayyyy better.
