Cos i only want one partner ever, and only want them to have one partner ever. It would be super weird to know that someone as been with another, or to even know that i myself had someone else. I only want to ever love one person, i could give many reasons why, but the biggest i feel is that i wouldn't be able to truly love someone after if i already have someone in my heart.

Sure you say to just get over it, and move on, but the thing is, i wouldn't want to. If i don't want to then it's impossible to.

You don't need to love someone to have sex with them. I've not loved, or even had anything even remotely resembling emotional attachment to any of the girls I've slept with. I'm sure that most of the guys (and possibly even girls who aren't religious) that you know will say pretty much the same. Or they might have been emotionally involved with their sexual partners, just not really finding it an issue later in life.

Sure it might seem sweet and innocent to you - the whole idea of the perfect marriage - but it's unrealistic, even if you completely remove the idea of sex without emotional attachment from the equation. Human beings are fundamentally sexually poly-amorous, though with a strong case of social monogamy.

In short - sex is great. Why ruin it with marriage?
