I was impressed with the whole building coming down and improved destructive improvements. But still... it feels nothing more than an expansion.

I won't. I'm not buying any new EA games regardless what they are Grin

Shouldve remade Bf1942

Or done something a little more  creative, like Titanfall
(check this: http://youtu.be/pb-rHeCwKZU

So yeh, really couldn't give two shits about BF3.5

The gameplay video looks nice but that's now how the game plays out. There are no large scale battles or teamplay in Battlefield, it's always just run and gun shoot 'em up. It's essentially Call of Duty on a larger map with vehicles. The DLC costs more than the retail game and is required to play on 90% of the servers. Gameplay looks identical to BF3 except now buildings can kill you too.

Sharks are not monsters Henley, they are cute, cuddly and misunderstood. They love humans. sometimes they love TOO much. They love people so much that sometimes their kisses separate people into two flailing pieces which are consumed by other sharks in a frenzy of peace and joy.

Project Reality, that's where it's at.

But oh, let's not forget they killed moddability for BF, just like they did for Simcity and no doubt plan to do for other games. Fuck EA.

Project Reality is definitely where its at. They're at 1.0 now, full features, I need to reinstall BF2 and get on my old clans server.

What's a good difference between this and BF3?

The destructability is far beyond what BF3 had, suggesting a new engine. The graphics seem cleaner (although they are very similar, but thats more of an art style and a non-issue in my book). The addition of naval units is a big change, as it can alter entire strats.

Having squad perks and commander mode back can bring teamplay back, i remember going into clan servers back in bf2, and it would be completely different that a pub game. So i am pretty pumped.

Oh yeah, 'new features'  Roll Eyes, take out features the old games had then reintroduce then as novel additions in a sequel. The only 'new' thing here is destructable buildings but even that is something many shooters contemplated in the past and decided against for gameplay reasons

Guess most battlefield players suffer from some sort of amnesia
