finding the game pretty good so far even though my laptop doesn't handle it sufficiently. random asian and blonde nodding to me in the reading hall, seeing me there with my book not knowing it's a coh 2 replay i am watchin on my laptop.
maybe it's me getting old and weak but i felt like coh 2 was really chaotic. the graphics make it hard to tell whats going on and you have so many units.

YOu do have more units overall. You get used to the Graphics. Anytime graphics change your mind will go through that stuff.

I still cant get over the fact that units are on average 50-150% more resilient to small arms compares to Vcoh.
Fuck, the tier 1 grenadiers are much tougher than vcoh stormtroopers... PIONEERS are equal in toughness to Vcoh grenadiers and so on... While close range DPS has actually gotten smaller, long and mid relatively the same.

Nah, I think you're having a placebo effect here... VCoH Rifleman (Tier 1) = 55 or 60HP (IIRC) - Better rifles in close combat iirc Coh2 Conscript (Tier 0) = 80EHP (1 Armor) - Slightly better at range, definitly not in close combat but they'll win either way with the massive HP difference. VCoH Grenadier (Tier 2) = 80HP CoH2 Grenadier (Tier 1) = 106.4EHP (1.5 Armor) Stormtrooper Kar98 > CoH2 Grenadier Kar98 ALL COH1 HANDHELD AUTOMATICS > ALL COH2 HANDHELD AUTOMATICS Except maybe the LMG42 but even then that is only long and medium range, it's actually weaker at short if I recall correctly, Seriously, coh2 automatics are weak as hell... The DP upgrades for the guards? They're only worth about double their normal rifles, you're essentially just buying another pair of rifles to make up for the dps lost by the two guys with AT rifles... Then compare the PPsh or MP40/44's to vcoh and... Well, I suppose it came par for the course with them being free but that does not mean I have to like it. Opposite is true for tank vs. inf combat, inf is actually squishier in CoH2 when tanks shoot at them due to increased tank damage (80 or 160 damage vs 80 health standard) believe it or not. |

really sensible use of averages and numbers there. but yeah sometimes fights take forever, and I dont like how good buildings are in this game vs regular small arms. i also dislike the lack of green cover and all the automated cover seeking, but it seems to be less retarded for obvious cover than in coh1 |
