I have a gaming laptop and I have no complaints really... That being said though, there's no reason to get a laptop for gaming unless you have to travel a lot or live abroad like I do. You can get a desktop that does the same for much cheaper.
That is exactly the point... I used to travel and currently I am living abroad (US) but I am moving back to Spain in a month and most probably to Germany in 6 months so I need a laptop.
I agree that buying a laptop specifically for gaming is not a good idea, I will use it also for other things, at the end is a computer... if you have good memory RAM, great processor INTEL I7 4th gen and enough storage capacity like around 1 TB should be enough for working too.
I don't mind the size or weight, I don't plan to carry it everyday somewhere, just in case I need it be portable at least I will have it.
I appreciate your answers and advices, the discussion about the allienware is out of the thread please, will not add any value because I said at the beginning is out of the question. Focus on the 3 options please.
I got 2 good points... EIRRMOD (not to buy anyone...) and the other to go for ASUS... well I have 2 ASUS options very close to each other but one with a crappy internet card (150mbps max) but easy upgradable to 32GB RAM (2 free spots for this) and a free spot for extra HDD that could be a SSD one if need be. The other has all spots busy and I will need to remove memory or HDD to change for upgrades...
So any advice?
Also I would like to know what is better a HDD 5400 rpm or 7200 rpm. What is the difference between normal HDD and SSD? what about hibrids HDD.
Thanks for your help
