War is hell.
I've been in my share of disconnects before, and struggle through them.

ive gotten close, but after disconnects the mission changes from winning to 'make them win by less, cost them as much as possible'

I fought a 3v4 on French Countryside when Skunker dropped at the beginning, I was on the side with 3. It was awesome fun, sure we lost, but we didn't lose many full units, got some nice vet, and cost the allies a lot of stuff.

Depends on the players.

Marine you might wanna remake the Poll with the acutally question as it happend!
They did not Disconnect on will, they lost connection.
"Keep playing a 4v4 when 2 players of one team
lose connection,
because of hardware failure and the 2 players are still willing to play/
remake
."
-Yes, keep playing as a 2v4.
-No, just remake.
You try so hard to make it look like they left in the middle of the game, but thats not true. After 10 mins hardly is the middle of a 4v4 game.

I say we burn anyone that has even dropped from a game at the stake!
Just for reference...
If the game hasn't lasted 5 minutes, it doesn't matter whether all the players agree or not, one side can drop entirely and the game WILL NOT COUNT.
After 5 minutes, the game will count regardless so you might as well play your best regardless of the drops.

expect flash, what these guys wanted was for us to alt tab while the game was still Running, and do Abbandon VIA the website
you might want to enable Protection vs that.

Ah, lame indeed...
So many things need protection, and no time to do them if you ever want to see bigger, better version of EIR.
However, this probably doesn't need protection, if players are determined to not make a battle count, they can easily do it by unplugging their routers and quitting as well. The point is that after 5 minutes, if one side wants the battle to stay, there's nothing the other side can do about it.

if someone's internet fucks up then i would let them reset, if someone drops becuse they can't be fucked to play or they don't want to lose anymore unit bla bla, then the game should carry on.

it makes a point, saying "its really cold" is all well and good, but what if it is colder than that, you could say it is really really cold" bla bla, but really saying "it is fucking cold" is the next level up if it is colder than "really cold", they can be used to describe the extreme and add emotion. if you got shot at; saying "that was close" does not show the emotion and adreniline but saying "fuck me! that was close" etc then the feel of the situation is conveyed.
