Hi,

First, not sure if anyone remembers the MG34 that luftwaffe got at one point, but why was it removed? I thought it was a cool unique unit. I also think this unit should be brought back but not in its original form. Possibilities:

1)Keep it the same as before, like an mg42 that can cloak
2)Make it a 3 man falls squad with an lmg that doesn't have to set up, but lower its suppression/damage
3)Make it a weapons crate drop, or possibility of choosing lmg as an unlock

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now the wirbelwind.. this piece of shit needs to be upgraded because it could be a fun unit. Pick one to improve:

1)Increase range
2)Increase armor
3)Increase acceleration(by a lot) and speed

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The flakvierling... I think it should be a global upgrade, so any falls or luft squad can build it and then crew it. It's too weak of an emplacement to have to wait for a truck to come and build it. It should be a quick and easy area lockdown unit that can be built at a moment's notice.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Riflenades need more buffs via doctrines. So far the only significant one is +20% damage from T3. Also, I think a cool ability would be an ambush volley. Requires unit to be cloaked, and you can choose an area (like with a mortar) to shoot 2 grenades into. The area would have to be fairly large for this not to be OP. Not sure how codeable this is.

I know it seems like I'm focusing on improving luft only, but overall I think most doctrines have a few unlocks or choices that are just not good, and if fixed they can add so many different build options. Of course you all probably know this, its just that patches take a long time with 1 or 2 coders working part time.

Your suggestions for the MG34 squad sounds like you are describing support grenadiers which currently are a reward unit.

First of all Katyusha :  Start playing, I haven't seen you in game yet
2) Wirbel is good enough.
3) If you want to buff it, minor buff should be okay like 1.1 suppresion modifier.
4) Flak will be delivered by Opel no matter what you will say. Every emplacement is like this.
5) Riflenades are incredible good and still you want to buff them via doctrines

I loled Cheesy

cause noone uses support grens

dbl loled Cheesy

WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG, only Wher, PE and Americans are delievered by vech.

Brits have to build Bofors and MG with 3 man squad which auto retreats if it looses one man!

Still better than OPEL which can be destroyed by a single shot . _.

Btw. Stop qq about Brits every fucking time. 3 man squad can at least defend itself. My point was that emplacements are delivered not builded by tommies or riflemans.

yeh defend itself from minesweeper pios.

Opel is fast lol, and for another 2 pop a scout can make sure it don't run into any trouble.

having played little luft tho, I would like to see the Weirble relegated to either extreme suppression role, or heavy AI not half assed of both.

hey katyusha,

havent seen you in a while here, but to good know that you are still here. Its also good that you post your opinions and ideas here.

well on your t2 pak i need to agree. its pathetical trash. either give it chain breaker for free or take it out. MG34 well i need to say that i never used due to the fact that i always prefered th or se. But a cloaking HMG is pretty strong. It would be a VERY good t2 unlock. Tbh i would like to see this t2 unlock to give both, small atg with chain breaker and cloakable hmg

my honest opinion is that the wirbelwind pretty strong if you are not facing smoke spam (ab or inf). I hear from a lot of players that its not strong enough. So if you buff it: maybe give it a good close range accuracy to 0.8 and buff its range by 5 m. So you ending up with an infantry killer who can outrange HHat by 10m.

4ling on each FJ sqaud => SPAM
maybe just a buyable option for LW infantry it would strengthen the defensive role. But it needs to be packed in each time you want to move.

@ XII my brit fanboy: The bofors damages LVs quite reliably. has a range of 45 and can be replaced and i think it cant be sniped.
as a comparison: the flak 4ling doesnt have these awesome penetration vs LVs, it can be sniped, it cant be replaced. and its also placed by a 3 man sqaud, but takes far less damage since it crew can die.
For the 88 thing its the same, no reallocation, fragile crew. The opel thing is a nice thing and adds atmosphere but its neither an advantage nor disadvantage.
And
maybe just maybe the bofors isnt as bad as you think.

What a sad time for these forums. Graywolf runs around in every balance thread acting like the foremost authority on the game. Also might as well make support grens regular units like what was done with the ford ambulance. Too fragile and have to be babied too much to be even marginally effective.

Yes ick the bofors does dmg lvs quite well, it also struggles vs inf at med and close range.
The flakverling will decimate inf at anyrange.

The bofors is a 40mm as opposed to the verling 20mm.
I know realism holds little value in eir but this is essentially the difference between a p4 gun and a panther gun.
As for the verling and 88 being snipered, the 88 is the single most powerful atg available.  Are you saying it shouldnt have any drawbacks or weaknesses

I've been playing as bondaro35. These are my confessions..

Since when is wirbel good enough? All I've been hearing is how shit it is.. I think either the suppression should be removed, and let it do massive damage like a moving flakvierling, or decrease damage by a lot and increase range by 5 so it's a long range suppression tool that does almost no damage.

Look at how many buffs the brit riflenades get vs luft.. plus they can have a lt for increased accuracy.

I'm talking about letting LW and falls squads build the flakvierling globally, not the 88. Probably will need a price increase, but then it will be useful because you can put it down exactly when you need it.

I would honestly vote to make the Wirble the infantry blender. Although i love modes, so would be fine with it having a low damage high suppression toggle and a no suppression high damage toggle. Maybe with a 30 second cooldown timer.

Only bonus AOE + 5m range... WOW... Tell me if tommies have airbourne armor (with doc... YES) or sprint ability ? Oh wait... They also probably have faust for Tanks and lvs... No ? Hmmmm Then maybe they can camoflage ? awww shit no ?
Well maybe, they can build tank traps and wires ? NOOOOO ? Look at FJs as a whole, not just as a weapon.

And btw. Wirbel is just rapping shit out of allies. I just played a 4v4 and I can say that : Wirbel is good enough. If you want to buff sth, buff flakvierling.

Flakvierling is awesome, its AI is sexy. It just has a glaring weakness to ATGS

the same reason the Bofors, mortar pit, 17pdr emp, mg bunkers aren't global upgrades.
Its not Vcoh, these units have their own veterancy and thus are separate entities.
