ive gotten quite bored while unemployed, i was wondering if anyone here knows any good baking recipes, personally im quite fond of the basic Baguette recipe if im making bread but its getting kinda bland.

If you know any good simple/complicated ones then please post them here.

love to make that one alpha, my only problem when making it i never really get the bread to be fluffy enough, it always ends up being kinda heavy and wet unlike the one i made in italy.
maybe its because i use virgin oliveoil but i dont think it should have that much of a diffrence.

Avoid adding Alkaline in the form of newly made unsettled soap (newly made unsettled black soap can easily be mistaken for back olives).

Well i did spend 5 months in a cooking school in denmark getting smashed so i still remember the occational warning alpha, i think ill survive.

You have to knead it and leave it to raise more then, also applying more flour to the outside at each step should help (some people like to apply cornmeal or even polenta to the outside just before baking). The oil should really only impact the taste (I use Extra Virgin).

most of the time for bread like that i knead for about 10-15 minutes to even everything out then if the bread is too wet after the 10 minutes i slowly add more untill its sticky yet keeps shape.

ye thats about the same texture i normally get, what i want tough is something like this and i just cant seem to get it without sourdough.
guess i just need some brewers yeast to do it properly again.

i personally hate dence bread as it never really fits well with cheese.

After the first kneading you really should leave it for 45 Minuet before playing with it again (that includes adding things), then knead it again, then lave it again (30min), then shape it, then leave it again (20min).

Anyway, if it comes out like this, you've done it right (dense and fluffy):
