I think we should speed up this tourney a lot. The first round takes up 5 weeks. Then 3 more weeks of knockout stage. 8 week total tourney during summer is way too long imo. It seems you cant go on holidays for 2 months lolwut? Everybody has to be here every week to play a game? Make it shorter cuz I think this is gonna fail.

Anyway, I'm adding a new rule whereby in the first round, if all teams play their game before the end of the week, we'll start the next round early. This should help to move along quicker.
 Then 3 more weeks of knockout stage.
Where did you even get this from? If you can't commit to it then I'll just remove you tbh |

It's easy to criticise part of the arrangement making players needing to be available. But in the past it's been the players who have failed at showing or comprehending instructions who have ruined tourneys/scenarios.

Yeah, so its not really logical to expect everyone to be here every week during 2 months of summer holidays. And yes schmidt I read that rule, which is very unclear and it doesnt force people to play before a certain date to speed things up, in other words its very unlikely things will speed up with that rule. I say 3 weeks of knockout becuz you said its 1 week per game right? If thats not it then make clear what it is. How do we know what to commit to if you dont tell us what timeframe we need to commit to. |

Seems kinda pointless to sign up for tournament you can't be at..... it also seems kinda pointless to have a tournament span over months and months. I can't see anyone holding an interest over that length of time tbh.
Tourney should be a month max. IMO

Sorry Wind, I obviously did not write that in a way that came across as I meant it. I just don't understand why anyone would try to convince someone to leave the tournament. For a couple of weeks now Schmidt has been asking for another team. You are a good player that should be able to garner a good teammate - why would we need to break up another team to do that? Perhaps I misunderstood your post and scotz wants to leave. But you said you were trying to convince him....so Anyway - whatever. I just hate to see Scotz get bumped is all. |

Probably could get a few games in a day if you worked out times for each game with the 4 players involved. If a guy doesn't show up, his team forfeits and the other team moves on. It's harsh but guys in EiR aren't going to make showing up a priority, even for a scheduled game they said they could make, unless it means an auto-lose. |
