Path of Exile sucks in late game. Spamming just potions in PvE. There's also no real hardcore mode. Better to save up money and buy Diablo.  |

Your character is removed from the hardcore league and placed into the softcore league; most people just delete their character when that happens and start a new hardcore character becuase they either want the hardcore rewards and not the softcore rewards, or the race that they are participating in only counts hardcore characters.
So yeah, your character is removed after dieing (from hardcore), just an identical version then appears in a softcore world.
Yeh, still not hard core. If you can still use the character once you've died, its not hard core |

How is it not? You're basically getting demoted from "Kool kidz hardcore world" to "Babies unlimited lives world". After that first death you're not playing in hardcore anymore and thus the character is worthless from a hardcore point of view. The characther is just an empty husk of what it used to be, no hardcore soul left in sight.
If what tig states is correct anyway.

I have a cure for that! Just download more RAM from here and your computer will run so fast that you'll want to spend all of eternanity with it and not die from Cancer! Just look at how much RAM I downloaded from them:  7k Terrabites of RAM, no OS uses more then what 16 or 32gb. Ya HARDCORE tigglet |
