It's not, iirc all officers can pick up exactly 1 dropped weapon of any kind, I think it has to do with a doctrine variant of the boys that was overlooked, can't be sure without double checking.

As for that RR glitch? I think it only applies to top-row doctrinal RR's if memory serves and I do think it only applied to airborne picking up their own RR's, but that last bit might be wrong, long time ago.
No idea why it happens, could be a weird "on-pickup" linking error but not sure why that would be.

Took a look through the log. Nothing related to airbourne has been changed in nearly a year as far as i can see. Did this start happening after the last patch?

maybe a team speak TS will do the work , i really like ow players communicate in omg it makes playing games fun , or we can us the omg ts for the time being lol ...

Oh yes! I played 5 or 6 games today, 2v2s & 3v3s. It would seem that it's getting alive again. Biggest problem is that many think it's dead and therefore won't bother to stick around in launcher when in fact we could be having games daily even without managing them.

I prefer teamspeak and I hope that EiR would move to TS3 from their ventrilo. You'll be seeing me in voice again, hearing my nasty finnish accent

Experienced / good shoutcasters should do this. I could make intro video for it. I've been thinking about making some EiR videos, I just can't find any time for it.

hardly. maybe if the person uploading is already half way decently established or has some viewers. im pretty sure all my videos are just various dorks in the eir cavern watching them.

i can do a shoutcast anytime and have it uploaded within a day. im sure that the main part of the community here have played the game so much, watching it is just beating a dead horse.

maybe if someone put a link of shoutcast on the mainpage(that doesnt seem to ever get updated)  might have a small trickle. as i recall whenever we actually do fix the page we do get a good amount of people or at least we did.

Lol holy smokes haven't been there for ever.

Shoutcast 12 from like 4 years ago, if that dont put a black cloud over the mod i dont know what will.

Also dat warmap is false advertising pls remove or i speak the lawyers.

I've been saying this same too. The old shoutcast is cool and nice video, but it's OLD and definitely not a sign of active mod (idk if it is but we can try ).
Replacing old warmap, making some new instructions etc.. idk if anybody have time for that, but at least we could do a new shoutcast (as it seems that there's people willing to do those) and maybe add some kind of 2015 marker in there to give a sign that there's still people playing this mod.
And believe me, frontpage is very important for this mod. What TheIcelandicManiac said is totally true. When I'm somewhere else than at home and I want to check forums I must allways go trough the frontpage.

I've been collecting material for a promotion video and doing preparatory work for it. Hopefully I can get it done in couple of weeks (this is a different thing than the intro for some shoutcast, but I can make those too).
