Okay. So, by my estimation, the only viable build right now (for US inf) is to cram nothing but pairs of zook rangers, pairs of quads, and at least 3 pairs of ATGs into the company (with 2 riflemen for explicit recrew purposes).

From my playtesting, these builds generate the following results:

InR spam (3x per callin) with all MU directed at AT: InR can't stand up to any infantry pairs tougher than Volks if they just decide to lolcharge you. The company is also very small and gets crapped on by any LVs or Snipers. Hell, an MG counters this company (InR aren't fantastic against any suppression because of their Soldier armor--+25% received suppression).

Triple BAR, +10 HP rifle spam: If you run them in pairs, you still don't have enough raw firepower to overcome any upgraded (G43, LMG, MP40) Axis infantry. If you run your Riflemen in triplicate, you're dedicating 15 pop to simply fighting 10 pop of upgraded Axis inf--why not sic a 12 pop Sherman (that can kill other things) on them? The strat is also short on AT unless you use all of your fuel on M10s, and those suck against anything that isn't a P4. Tl;dr, the strat is actually pretty terrible unless you're facing nade+medkit Grens en masse.

OTOA Full Package Rangers: Get mauled by Assault Grenadiers without much trouble.

Triple Assault Garand Riflemen: You NEED 3x squads in order to reach critical mass and make them effective; this faces the same problem as triple BAR spam, but you can now just barely manage to trade with unupgraded infantry, and you have a little more MU to throw at AT. You'll still want to stuff at least 5 ATGs and as many M10s as you can into the company, but you'll be short on scouting.

My old AG company (pairs of AG rifles, triple AG+mine engies): Didn't work unless the game was very static, and was a pretty terrible strat--it only won because I had vet. That's the key, without vet, US gets mauled, period.

LnL crew weapon spam: Gets countered by a single LATHT, mortar, nebel, or Sniper. Why are you trying to out crew weapon the Axis, anyway?

The problem: US sucks at generating enough raw firepower to make anything fuck off. If you manage to generate enough dakka (AI or AT) to counter either foot mobiles of vehicles, you simply don't have enough firepower to counter the "other half". Your only saving grace is spamming suppression out of your ass, but retarded amounts of BARs, Quads, and MGs are literally countered by the PE player having the Sprint ability purchased. Against WM...okay, you pinned them, but their medkits are healtanking your paltry DPS. What do? Flamethrowers? You don't have any resources for that after you spent them all to get enough suppression into your company.

There is nothing more frustrating than watching an IST or pair of clowncars wade through a pair of ATGs and a pair of bazooka Rangers. Those ATGs need to be run in pairs--single ATG doesn't counter anything except an idiot that charges it frontally (and a frontal charge with a Tiger or Panther is easy to do and will ALWAYS kill the ATG and crew).
