EIR Highlander

Highlander is an ongoing EiR mini-game where those who proclaim their prowess at vet whoring or vet hunting can both shine. Whenever an assigned highlander unit is killed, the unit which killed it will have the highlander’s exp added to it. In order to “win” highlander, you simply have to be the owner of the first highlander unit to reach 3,000 exp.

1.) How a unit becomes a Highlander
     A. In order for a highlander round to start, a unit must meet the prerequisites.
          i. It must be vet 5 or a leaderboard leader
          ii. It should belong to a player who is fairly active
          iii. Said player must show a willingness to play with the unit more often than not. Not perpetually put the unit in the holding zone.
          iv. A single player may have more than 1 highlander
2.) Highlander transfer
If a player becomes inactive or shows reluctance to bring a unit into the game (for example, the unit not gaining any exp despite multiple matches being played), the highlander exp will be transferred to another unit. The unit the exp is transfered to must meet the prerequisites stated in “becoming highlander”

3.) Highlander progression and victory
     Every time the leading highlander(or any non-highlander) unit reaches an exp benchmark, another unit is given highlander status (so long as there is a unit which meets the prerequisites) to a maximum of 5. The benchmarks are every 500 exp. Victory is given to the first player to have their highlander reach 3,000 exp.
If a non-highlander unit kills a highlander unit, it will be given its exp and become a highlander unit. If a highlander unit kills another highlander unit, another one will not take its place. This means the there will never be more than 5 highlander units active during any cycle. Basically;

          Highlander introduced
              1,000 exp Second highlander introduced
              1,500 exp Third Highlander introduced
              2,000 exp Fourth Highlander introduced
              2,500 exp Fifth Highlander Introduced
              3,000 exp Victory.

4.) Claiming Highlander EXP
When you kill a highlander unit, YOU MUST POST A REPLAY of the game where it was killed.Failing to do so forfeits the highlander exp. A new highlander will not be made in compensation.

If all active highlanders are killed without a replay to claim the exp, then the cycle ends and a new highlander cycle will begin once a unit which meets highlander prerequisites is found.

5.) The prize
Other than having a crazy high exp unit to play with and bragging rights, once you win highlander, you have 2 prize options.
     a. Return your highlander to zero exp, Get 1 reward unit of your choice
     b. Return you highlander to its initial vet upon becoming highlander, get 1 reward unit at random.

So what u guys gonna do of this things, like I'm done.

I got the 4 type of the units as the vet 5.

U guys think again the standard(gaving reward unit).

So the player like me, keeping vet holding and getting more,
He(she) got more reward units which things are powerful and might be OP things,

OR the Hall of the players starting the spamming again just for killing the vets.

and we know why he players dont wanna playing about it.

So, take a moment and think again about this.

This might be gonna fun, for some players, for now.

Highlander is only the unit on the board. Only terrapin so far. No need to worry hamster, no one will hunt you because of this. I mean, vet hunt is always a possibility, but it wont be because of highlander for you.

First highlander transfer of the campaign.

Terra's Panzer 4 was killed by volskinators m10, giving it 558 exp.
Volskinators m10 was then killed by terra's vet 4 panzer IV, transferring that 558 exp to it, making it the new Highlander leader at 951 exp.

We are 49 exp from the second highlander being added to the board.

Okay So I miss understand this topic.

Top of 20 Units on Leader board, and Vet 5 units can join this thing, and only the units which is on that Highlander Memorial list.

So now only Allies got the chance to kill that pz4(exp 951), and dont know who gonna grab that bloodied medals and Highlander.

What I really worry about the thing,

All players are just spamming the hall of the things, and it never gonna fun of it as VS player, as teammates.

Just wanna enjoyable games :/

For example if there is vet 4 Tiger with 500 exp and vet 5 Stug with 400, Stug will be next highlander, because Tiger is not vet 5 and IF Stug is highest exp unit atm second to P4. If one of the highlanders hits 1500 exp, there will be the third chosen.

It could be choosen with a single select in SQL, dunno if devs wanna do it, but it would clarify a lot for most of the peeps.

Still don't understand? Well... Hunt the highlander and your unit will become highlander.
