This is a 2v2 on Road to Carentan, myself Steinmarder vs Bonte and Slslookout. The game ends because Bonte loses connection and drops, but if you watch up to that point you will see how I field nothing but HMGs and Mortar teams (a few snipers) and it is easy to hold the line. I played allies btw.

You had teammates. One tank would have run you over. Does not show their op'ness. Shows the players had no counter.

thats why support weapons have now been op. Pop cap should be 4 at minimum. Plus higher costs (maybe) but definetly decrease the actaully heavy weapons health.

fl every time we used tanks the RR's came out of no where. Granted that we could have definetly played better. Heavy weapons are still OP.

They had a few armor coming at me, yes I had a teammate with 2 squads of Paratroopers showing the Fireup ability as well.
At no point did we have more than 4 squads other than heavy support, and even if they came at us with a tank the recoiless would have taken them out and the AT gun.
At the start I had 8 squads out, 5 HMGs and 3 mortars.

Yes, actually I am a strong supporter of combined arms however, if you are forced to go with a full company of heavy weapons you cant always rely on your teammates to fill in the gaps.
They did have one nebel...it did next to nothing, recoiless took it out.

I plan on watching the replay, but I expect to see nothing unusual. Draygon... You are not FORCED to do so... Had they had protected their artillery, and had more of it... they could have drove you out and then attempted to attack... They also could have used snipers or ST to see areas of weak resistance.

They tried snipers...didnt work. Watch the replay you will see they tried just about everything short of a armor blitz which they couldnt do because of the pop cap.

THe only thing this replay shows is very poor tank micro and a total lack of combined forces on the axis side. Next time try pushing your Stuh with some support infantry and you would be able to break them in a second.

I DID watch the whole replay. What i saw was you repeatedly pushing alone with your Stuh42, making contact with a heavy weapon, and your support infantry was so far behind you that the recoilless pushed you away before they could come to your aid.
Now... had you setup some hmm LMGs at the edge of their fog or perhaps set your storms there waiting for them, once you took out the HMG and their recoilless came in you would have owned them. (or they may have just ran with fireup). Either way you could have pushed your lines forward.
Also, as i have been told, recoilless airborne are very expensive so once you retreat them or kill them you could know that you have cost a big chunk of one player's MP/MU.
