Got an issue:

Every program I try to open has a path d:  but my computer does not have a drive D: This just started happening a few weeks ago and I do not have time to fuck with it. It is why I am unable to patch or even open eir. I can't access our sql either.

I assume this must be some type of virus, but nothing shows up in scans ( ESET )

Any thoughts on how to correct?

Would help if you had screenshots.

Are you using shortcuts to run your programs? If so, go into the shortcut properties and replace the "D:" with whatever pathway is correct.

Did you recently install a new OS? (as in windows 7 -> 8 or 8 ->10 etc)

I want to ensure we have a 100% decision on the process before we do the wipe.
If not, then I wipe, then someone gets something they shouldn't, then it gets abused, then the shit hits the fan and then I ban shab.

well i suppose you can word it like that but my solution the the problem was going to the boot sequence screen on the motherboard and just rename it, kinda solved it but still messed up some shortcuts

well it was my mistake to begin with anyways for having a working version of windows xp on that disk but that happend with windows 8, dont know id its applicable to your problem.

wait, I read your problem wrong.
i dont think we are dealing with the same problem as i did.

it might be a hidden pardition disk that is cousing the mixup?
what version of windows are you using?

for me when it happend it didint rename the file location path, just the disk name so what might be the problem here is that when the computer was set up the harddrive was split into smaller parts and the Cheesy section was put as hidden or corrupted somehow.
