How should the community handle lag in battles.  I for one would never vote to kick.

Agreed. For all we know, someone could have forgotten to turn off uTorrent, or BitComet, or Steam, or something of the sort. Throwing your hands up in the air and refusing to deal with them just makes things worse for everyone here on EIR.

Nice.

Looks like the 3 a-holes involved voted kick in the poll... no surprises there.

Just after the cheap win.

I find this thread rather entertaining.

Depends, if they are lagging and hits the unplayable, then yea kick them, especially if they can't figure out what is wrong. Before that though, you should try and find out what is causing the issue. But I am not losing units just because some idiot can't seem to configure his hardware right.

Yes Skunker, we all know... oh, wait, I guess I don't know what EVERYONE thinks, that would make me a presumptuous ass, wouldn't it? I guess I know that you think I'm an ass hole. I'm really only a prick to you because you're a egotistical and arrogant ass to me and are quite mean to some other people.

who u calling an a-hole you werent even in the game, i wanted to abandon cause it was gonna dcon the guy anyways yet nobody in the axis channel abandoned it. if it makes u feel better i could play u in a 1v1 and pull out the internet cable so u get a cheap win. sorry for calling u a douche skunker after the game but u were acting the prick abit. i only voted to kick nevyen because there was already 2 votes for him and we were just siting there for ages lagged out. also if u watch the replay you'll see in our chat that we thought relic online had crashed because it was saying we all were lagging for a little bit.

Well for "some"we all know how i mean people its all about on witch side they are. If the enemy team has connection issues and 2 out of 3 are gone after 6 mins play time they wont abandon the battle since its the "enemy´s" fault.

If one of there team loses connection (hardly happens since they always team up with the same ppl..)
its abandon or i rape your dog.

Was that a subtle hint towards me, THTB? We've played, what, one game together? Yes, you WOULD know all about how I handle lag, wouldn't you?

That was the first time I've voted to kick in EiR only because there was two other votes. I usually try to rematch or something, but, when they said that we should leave and remake, none of the Axis players did. Hmm.

Besides, usually when someone drops in a game I'm in they're on my team and I'm forced to play it out or drop.

If the situation cannot is not remedied and gameplay is freezing for extended lengths of time, I will vote to kick.  However, that's a last resort to actually play through the game.

Usually this kind of lag starts in the beginning and continues through though, and I can get my team out of the game before the result is counted.

I'd say vote to kick is more for people after a fun game.  If lag develops and its bad enough, COH is abs. no fun to play.  Better just to kick the lagger and finish the game than force yourself to play though it.
