When I play MCP all I do is deploy lots of Officers and run around the map capping territory. VP is so much better because I can deploy just a few officers and then use tanks to tank crush my opponents.

well thtb, it depends on the sector layout of the map youre playing.
maps build with the mcp system in mind are focussed on fighting, if you play a stock map the system fails
and as the first mentioned are becomin more n more every day this problem should solve itself soon(tm)

That was good fore, it had a 'realistic' feel to it that is hard to achieve. Kudos.

What IS mcp?
The opposite of 2.0 2.0: Heal of all issues, bringer of fun and enlighment and it will heal cancer MCP: Greater of all issues, bringer of poor gameplay and so on

Loved that last comment ThTB. MCP: Greater of all issues, bringer of poor gameplay This style of play, in my opinion, requires no skill, I miss those days.

I would say it requires more skill.
Whats the real difference between MCP and VP? If you can't clear an hold sectors in MCP you lose faster. If you can't take and clear sectors in VP you still lose.
Maybe you should re-examine your tactics.

No, the real difference is that you used to be able to come back or at least give one hell of a shot at coming back in the old system. This new system...you get your ass handed to you, call it quites because you cant call in enough troops to even attempt a comeback.
You were never limited to what you could call in, you are now (in terms of population, axis have the advantage)

It's funny that I've actually heard complaints about it being too easy to come back with MCP. The dichotomies are humorous.
