I want to mod it to make capitals more of a center piece. Make it more epic, like BSG or Star Wars. Cap ships being big, nasty, have enough firepower to plow a frigate and slow enough for faster ships to outrun them. Also a price increase, so getting 6 or so together would be an incredible thing.

They can be in this too, until you get to mid/late game =) Then you need 5-6 cap ships to be the center =)

I'm going to look into modding Sins. Its much more mod friendly than CoH so we'll see what can be done.

its way easier to map, of course thats because the map really isn't interactive or strategic beyond lay out of phase lanes.

I finished my first map, it fixes a lot of the problems we were talking about, anyways, i made a post about it on the tenth, don't really need to keep spamming here about another game

I disagree, I've met some 'cool' people online.
The Sins community is far more mature than the Company of Heroes community.

As for communication, in both Sins & CoH you can/need to communicate through chat so I don't see a difference.

Two questions:

1) How long do multiplayer games last?  (i.e. how much time would I have to commit to at one sitting?)

2) Is this going to be just like Faces of War where everyone plays it for a few weeks and then ditches it as soon as the new EIR version comes out?
