Well, once the war stats get implemented, we won't have to worry about stacked teams as much anymore.

Lol, we couldn't even have STARS next to our names because we'd be too "elitist"

the hardest thing with EiR is the smallish community, if it was annon joining games like the matchmaker it would be solve that problem eh!

You want competition, I don't willingly compete in contests with teammates who cannot carry their own.

Well furthermore it's really sad when you let players ruin a fun game. If you're going to get angry at these people because they're incompetent and they're not as skilled, then don't team up with them so you don't yell at them.

It's very unfortunate that's for sure. It probably does hurt the community somewhat, but no more than the badmouthing that goes on (normally by these same players) about the modification in Ventrilo and on the forums. It's really no different than all the people that do the same sort of thing to many other games (and mods). Generally, these players are banned or there posts or comments are censored. I choose to let them be and as they'll eventually dig their own grave with the rest of the community.
you will find people will not play with the outspoken people just as much as the outspoken won't play with those they deem noobs

There should be a community charter outlining expected behaviours of members and what thier rights are.
Clear consistant and fair. It worked in my wow guild like a treat, over step the mark and your out no excuses.
Each Member to tick they accept the charter in the sign up page and then we can move on. FL or someone suitable should make it and then have those how can enforce it with oversight by fl.
You want to kill the bullshit that flys around here like flies on a dead carcass? get some rules down that people need to abide by and then enforce them when people screw up. Internet communities are not like normal groupings, they benifit and suffer from the fact we have no personal contact with each other, that there are no real consequences for not being civil or colabotating to benifit the community.
The outcry like this is fruitless in such a community because all victims and protagonists alike will post thier opinions and then it will return back to what it was before. If you want to change behaviours you need to apply negative consequences to the behaviours you wish to subdue, otherwise since i don't have to exist in your phisical and social space, you can rant and rave about me (hypothetically here im using 'I" as in an example) all you want and i can do the same to you and we can both be absolute dicks and the consequences of such actions are not enough to deter us from such behaviour.

Why should I be forced to play with people I don't want to play with? Thats what it comes down to. If you want to, go ahead. I won't.

i believe that so many players are disgusted with the "elitism" as u call it and move away from eir, the thing is that they dont want to play agaisnt people on stacked teams, for example when people want to get a game goign there are so few people in vent and wanting to play games that they are forced to get raped by stacked teams, for example boobaka and scrapking i think theyve played 90% of their games together, i think that the teams should be balanced by the players otherwise there will be no fun games

Stop complaining. It's a computer game. Just because you are talking to a real person, rather than reading someone's IM text, doesn't mean that it's any more serious...
Some players are better than others. Some players should shut up. On that matter, if some players brag about anything, some players are just proving that they are better at pressing the plastic button on their mice than you.
It's a game. There should be no elitism, but sometimes there is. I don't like it, but it's part of life. Thing is, if you're going to be elite, you're not going to be very welcomed by the community... etc. etc.

All of you have valid points. Bragging is annoying as hell, but it happens. it will always happen. It's human.
Let the elitists alone. Eventually, no one will want to play with them, and they'll have dug their own grave.

Internet=anonymity
anonymity=people feel its ok to be a dick.
Honestly the pure vitriol shown by a vast majority of the community lately makes me sick. I wonder what all the new people think?

Why do people think that just because you are good, you should be forced to play with people you don't want to? If you want to play, play, if not, don't. But stop whining that some of us choose to play with people that we know can at least hold their own. Whats the fun in playing when you already know that because of who is on your team, and who is on the other, you have already lost.

Those how stack are weak and fear the challances. I grow with evry lose while they let there ego grow.
Nothing is sure dear AmPm.
Woud you ever have thought i coud beat Apex, unk0wn or ucross? 2 of those 3 have been defeated at least once by me.
There are still some people that are "good" Sportsmen and stick to the "unwritten" code of honour. We will play regardless of team´s, even out if we play both sides and keep the possiblity to play games high.
Our main Goal is fun and enjoyment for evryone.
On the other side there are those who live for the win. They seem to play purly for Win´s to prove the greatness of there ego. A sad thing, but we have to live with that, I tryed to explain the favours of "fun" gameing to them, but there opinion and self-based-reasoning are stone hard.
Maybe we shoud just reject them with a "No i dont want to play vs your stacked team", BUT isent that just what they do? Woud we really act "right" if we act the same way? I dont think so. So I for one bare it and try to make the best out of it.

It's that kind of attitude that I'm talking about, which is blatantly untrue.

Really you don't think there are players which heavily weigh the outcome of the game? Thats interesting since people constantly refused to play against Skunker and I, something about stacked teams? Where was your fearless sense of online e-honor then?
You people that complain about this sicken me, for the most part the people that are on the low rung of play recognize that they have room for improvement, its these mid level wannabe good guys that insist the high end play with weaker players. Perhaps so they have a better chance of winning? Let me and Skunker and Unknown and Dasnoob get our companies worked up again so we can listen to you complain about how you had no chance, and so on and so forth after you lose a game.
Jesus, some people like to get on a hypocritical high horse and berate others for doing the exact same thing they do.
