This rather annoyed me. We start a 2v2, and 10 mins into the game, right after their initial defense got routed, one of them just up and drops.

Battle 234

Yeah, alot of the new players.. are just being lame. I recall a few games last night, with 2 players in paticular, who couldn't get get a game together because one player kept dropping after he lost something of great value. Claiming it was a 'Technical Difficulty' every twenty minutes into the game.

Which is sad,

Very sad.

And quite honestly, I know it's been said that. 'Vent shouldn't have to be mandatory'

If you don't use vent, I personally will not play with you.

You will learn whom not to play with. There are 3 or 4 new people I know rage drop if they lose anything.

Just look at the silver lining, you win the game and get rbs and cps.

The only person that really suffers is the d-bags teammates who are now down a man. Well that and if you end up in a lag loop from it.

there is a difference between drop and quit

if a player uses the menue and the quit function of the game he quits and dont drops

there can be several reasons be for a quit

- the player has some real life things to do (telefon call, eating, working, social communications....)
- the player has messed up his company (no resuply after a previous battle, forgotten to save when building his company, some strange testing combinations and forgotten to change it back)
- the player saw that he has no good counter available and decide to quit the game (in agreement with his teammates)

- a player drops when he abuse connection isues to get one of his opponent kicked (and failed)
- a player cause by himself connection issues to make the relic server dont register the game

They're basically the same now. "Dropping" USED to refer to drophacking, before it was fixed.

1) It's not necessary to quit every time you get a telephone call, and it's really not hard to predict when you're going to be eating or working.

2) You didn't fuck up your company, you played for a good 10 mins. You didn't drop until your first line of defense got routed.

3) What do you mean "No good counter available"? 10 minutes into the game, after losing -one- engagement, you decided "Well fuck, we're screwed, there's absolutely no way we can win this"

BS.

You can ask for a remake (abandon + remake) if this is the case, don't hesitate!

BS.

You dont payed your opponent so why do you think you can force him to play a game as long as you want?
Its a game not your/his life and not his job. When he dont hacked cheated or something like that why he should not have the right to quit a game by a quit button?
i told you several possible reasons

i dont understand whats your fucking problem?

what would you do if he call all his plattoons and retreat them imidiately so that he is killed by anhilation than quiting a game?
`
would you open a topic where you post the playstyle your opponent need to have to satisfy you?

Meh, I'm not "Forcing" anything. This post served half as a vent, half as a warning to other players
