What do you guys think? I need some sort of opinion from other guitar players before I invest a nice $1700.

I have no opinion on this, but a friend of mine that is here right now thinks its "4 gay´s" (The guitar), but then again he likes heavy metal :?

I've played in a few bands myself so I know a thing or two about guitars, I just don't play it .

A friend of mine has a dark blue Gibson Les Paul & an epiphone SG, I just LOVE those guitars.

Yeah, I'm not rolling in dough, so I won't be purchasing a Gibson anytime soon. I could get an Epiphone Les Paul, but I want a hollow body.

I play bass, but I like the guitar, I listen to garage rock, punk, rock and roll, so I'm used to seeing that kind of guitar.

Epiphone dot is a lovely guitar. My brother used to have one. Don't know about those pickups though. Never played a tube combo before, just plain tube but i hear they are nice.

Looks nice, However I play Fender electrics and Gibson Acoustics. It is really more about what you are comfortable playing.
