^^. Here is a chance for you to help the mod.

I need 6 written and detailed articles on :

1. The Basics

2. Advanced Strategies (good players only)

3. Tips - Allies (as well as faction specific strategies)

4. Tips - Axis

5. Doctrine overview.

6. Effective ways to structure your company - Done by MasonDon

Anyone can make them, as long as they are in eligible english, but only the best will be chosen Smiley. They don't have to be insanely long, but detailed enough so that a newbie can read them and get a good grasp of the game. You can (of course) already submit guides you have already made, but you might have to tweak them and restructure them to fit the 6 parts I have above.

I might consider some sort of award for the author of the "winner article". Once you have the article done send me a PM with it. Comments here are allowed.

NOTE: A bunch of material has already been done and I am going to be using it, but if you can improve on whats already done, much appreciated. Also, the tutorials should be kept med-size, there shouldn't be a 5 paragraph section on how to setup something like ventrilo. Keep it simple, effective, but give out tips and strategies that aren't obvious to newbies. Also try to keep everything EiR specific, we are talking about "official" documentation for EiR, not for Company of Heroes in general. While general tactics like flanking and how awesome king tigers are should be pointed out, just don't focus your articles around them.

Well, there quite a few things EiR has at the moment that won't change with 2.0, or only change slightly. Anything that is known to change with 2.0 you can exclude from the articles if you want.

Its mainly for a collection of "official" EiR tutorials to get players started. And something special Tongue.

We're probably going to have to go collaborative on this, especially the sections about advanced strategy, tips, and platoon makeup.

Also, I lost a game due to not enough anti-infantry units, so airborne get double damage at each vet level.

More changes to come.

Just a thought, but it might be wise to hold off on writing about doctrine choices and company structure. 2.0 is going to completely rework it and you might have ended up wasting a good deal of time.

I'll work on Doctrine Overview. Should I include purchasing abilities or will all of that be incorporated in Basics?

I'll see if I can come up with something for the basics this week.

I am known for writing detailed reviews and passionately defending games without being an arsehole about it.

Need anything other than doctrine and Advanced strategies, PM me and ill type up a rough draft.

We are getting an influx of new players lately and with 2.0's release unknown, who's to say what is a waste?
