Now granted you were down to 160 Territories but your 2 quick offensive have gained you 160 or so territories and one of them isnt even over yet

Kinda funny how that works out.

nah, The way i see it, most play for vet, as one person said earlier tonight " The point of the game is not to win, but to gain vet.  I retreat all my units off and don;t need to or care about winning"

With thinking like that i can not imagine how the  axis got in a hole like this.

Its about he skill level of the commanders playing the game, Just like vCOH team automatch, you can throw 4 people against one another 100 times, and get 100 different results, but string those together and it could paint one hell of a picture.

Someone has to win, and sometimes there will be longer offenses and Defenses... Just like some games are decided in 5 minutes, others take an hour...

Im not sure how the others think im pretty sure we all think a like.  I care about vet and ill do the best I can to keep units alive, but I wont tank a game just to save a vet unit.  I use my vet units they dont sit in garages and gather dust.

This is why there will eventually be harsher veterancy penalties for losing matches.  10% is nothing.  25% is.  I'm just letting you know not to keep expecting 'easy street'.

I would never throw away a vet 3 tank to win a game, skirts are just too important. They will win me more than 1 game later and that means I at least break even. Weapon teams are another matter, I don't care if they die, and you have to either lose a squad instantly or be half asleep to lose infantry.

wouldnt that hurt newbs pretty bad ? i mean, if a war has been going for some time and you just jump into EiR and get owned time and again that would be kinda discouraging.
maybe some dynamic calculation based on enemy losses alltough i guess that might be pretty complicated.

How would it hurt newbs?  Newbs have units with 50 xp, end up with 38xp.  Vets with 185xp units, end up with 139xp units.  Who got hurt worse?

thats not the point i think. somebody who allready got a vet company(be it 1, 2 or 3) usually will not loose game after game and thus a lot of vet.
somebody new to EiR who is still learning what units to use when and how to efficiently attack will have a lot more losses on their hand. of course, eventually they will learn but i think the question is if theyre units are pretty much stuck at vet0 if that wont discourage them ?

You are still missing the point.  They are going to be losing so little XP that it will hardly be noticeable to them.  That said, it isn't like this change is going in today or even tomorrow.  There are other system to protect newbs that must be in place before it does.

i dunno...does it really matter wether they loose 10 or 50 when the units stuck at vet0 ?
i admit my point of view is more a mind then numbers thing  Wink
just thinking that it gives your morale a boost when you have your first vet1 units even if the difference aint that big. its motivation to go on.

Well I & forefall turned the offence on (by sacrificing my nr. 5 on the leaderboard - stuka ;(   )

Since the axis constantly played against stacked teams with more cp&Rb we have trained our skill to the max by fighting those how are favoured.

Now that we are on the offence the allys lose there advantage and now have to fight with there skill instead of there RB´s, CP´s and Vet. Witch results in them haveing a hard time.
