It seems that my last thread ( Dear Community... ) didn't quite settle into the minds of this community to well, so I am going to be blunt this with this one and not nice one bit.

To put it plainly; I logged onto my email today and do you know what I was confronted with? Up to 30 emails all reporting posts on this forum (good work to those people), they weren't reporting the same post either; they were all different one which I went ahead and deleted. I thought after my last rant it wouldn't have turned into the same btiching as before, but as you quite clearly decided to do; proved me wrong.

This is what is going to happen. As per my last thread.

    * Flaming/Attacking - If you flame someone, your post will be deleted; no matter how long your post is, attack someone and I am just going to delete it. I won't care if you spent 3 hours typing up that awesome stats chart. Flame = Delete. Simple. You will be banned from posting in the thread.
    * Derailing Threads - Your posts will be deleted. Don't even try to do it, because it takes me less than 3 seconds to delete posts, so its no skin of my nose. You will be banned from posting in the thread.
    * Greifing - Purposely setting out to discredit someone in the community and I will delete your posts on that subject. This goes for people who would post things like "Don't play with X". If this happens on Vent, then I will take you into a private channel and yell at you. You will be banned from posting in the thread.
    * Harassing - Any form of Harassment; Here or on Vent will end with the same type of actions I have already listed. You will be banned from posting in the thread.

I am one thread away from handing out forum suspensions; so you've all been warned. If you don't like what I'm doing then tough luck; it's most likely your fault it's turned to this.

I didn't realise that being nice to one another on the forums was such as massive task to undertake by some people; I'm sure some of you (even you Apex) have real life friends and family that you communicate with in some manner, and I have a hunch that you don't exactly act the same way you do to them as you do to people on the forums.

Again, I might be talking about something alien to most people; manners and respect.

I dunno akranadas, but some people just dont like threats.  Your the mod, you wanna delete a post go for it.  You wanna suspend or ban someone thats your power go for it.  The rules are posted we all see them, if someone violates them delete their post and move on, if its something that warrents a ban or suspension so be it.  However what we dont need is these "Dear Community" posts where you basically threaten to start handing out suspensions.  If there is so many threads and posts being reported that you cant handle it then too bad, you signed up for the job so deal with it.

In my eyes this post is basically a power trip.

On another note, im sorry I play this game for fun.  If you ever try to yell at me in vent ill just leave vent.  I dont have to listen to your crap as you know from previous history I wont.

@ Anthony,

I dunno; Maybe it's just me. But I like some kind of warning before things happen to indicate what you might be doing could be wrong. Kind of like when you've been caught for speeding, they already told you what would happen if they caught you doing it before you did it. So you can't play the ignorance card.

Thats what I am doing with these threads; I want to save myself and a lot of people a whole bunch of time when they come to me complaining that their posts/threads suddenly disappeared and they have no clue as to why. With this thread; they will know why it is gone.

Logic it's a funny thing.

Well Phil, then it's kind of sad that even this place has to follow the trend of the internet.

Weve already been warned, thats why we have a sticky with the rules on it, then we had your first Dear Community post.  We dont need more, honestly your only hurting your own repution by making more of these "threat" posts because they are starting to come off as empty threats at this point.

lol @ Phil..

and I agree with Anthony...these Dear Community threads arent doing much good Akranadas...we all have read the rules, I dont want this to be like the relic forums...so please, do not turn it into that.  FL has stated he doesnt want "tough" moderation, if someone is blatently attacking or trying to derail a thread, then yes I see reason to delete the post; otherwise, I see no reason at all why people cant speak their mind.

It's best if you just moderate the forum and PM people who are violating the guidelines. Making an entire topic about it makes everyone uneasy and I'm sure a PM would be much more significant in alerting a person of his or her action.

I'm not trying to turn this into the RN forums. You can speak your mind; I never hindered on that aspect now did I?

I am simply posting these types of threads because a large portion of this community can't follow this simplest (and I mean simple, hell the aren't really any guidelines at all). If people could follow those rules there wouldn't be a need for me to post things like this now would there.

It's not a hard concept to gasp, most of you should have learned this kind of thing in on the first day of kindergarden.

As people seem to want it; I'll do gestapo style moderation. It's going to make my time on this forum much less enjoyable, but hey; It's only me right? Not like any of you care; I'm just that Mod guy and apparently it's my job to be your mother and tell you to play nice.

Thanks community. You guys are a JOY to work for.

Im sorry you volunteered for the job, you can step down anytime you like.  So no sympathy from me.  We dont need Gestapo style, but a PM would suffice.  We dont need for you to treat us like we are children, most of us are adults here and we dont need some guy most of us dont even know trying to be our mothers on the internet.

While you're at it Ak, can you just go ahead and delete all forum posts concerning calliopes?  I'm sick of reading about them and there seem to be like 30 started every day.  In fact, can we just hand out a 1 week ban for the next tard that starts the next calliope thread?

If the guideline stickies were enough, we wouldn't be getting this constant barrage of "Player X is a jackass!" threads.

So the guideline stickies obviously arn't enough Smiley

I deleted one this morning.

@Anthony, this will never be like RN so I don't know why you keep bringing it up. Do you this type of thing when your work tell it's employees to start working harder or you'll get the sack?
