Heres a suggestion: Since it seems that some people cant seem to stay on topic NO MATTER what the topic is there should be a "spam" thread.  Ive seen it done on other forums and it has pretty much cleaned everything up.  The spam thread should be open to any and everything (within reason of course, no insults, politics should stay out as well as extreme vulgarity) and just let people put whatever they want in it.  Should fix at least 80% of the current problems.

One thing I do not agree with is that we are not allowed to blacklist players.  People should have the right to post about their experiances with bad players so others can avoid them.

For instance I just had my company locked for over an hour because some asshole on the other team wanted to be a prick.

We should be able to post their names so others know to avoid them.

I didnt post any abuse here, or name names.  Simply stating what I feel.

Hate to dig this up again.  But its hard to take these rules seriously when our own devs and mods break them.  I wont name people but I read several posts by developers and mods which are outright breaking the rules.

These rules really mean nothing to me if they arent followed by the ones that make them.

Also, I lost a game due to not enough anti-infantry units, so airborne get double damage at each vet level.

More changes to come.

Hey, if you have a problem with my posts, or any other dev member, report them.

But "omg the devs were doing it" is a bad excuse.

Not really, if the people that make the rules feel they can break them, then I really feel no obligation to follow them myself.

The rules are made by FL- and Akranadas.

And whether or not you feel the obligation to follow them, I'm sure they expect you to. Have a nice day.

I am independent from the dev team for a reason. If they are breaking the rules, then report them. I am human, I do miss things

lol, what are you gonna do? suspend the owner of the forums?  not saying it was fl just an example.

Its not big deal, im just saying your rules really mean nothing unless the leaders of this community adhere to them as well and I consider the dev team to be our community leaders and should thus lead by example.

I'm in charge of running the forums, they are in charge of the mod itself. If I had to; I would suspended developers if they were breaking the rules.

Want to post something more useless next time?

If you see a problem, report it. Stop dicking around and complaining about shit when there is a measure to make it be dealt with.

Ill believe that you will suspend or ban a member of the dev team or the owner of the website from his own forums when I see it.

I suggest you guys have a chat and decide what kind of forums you want, and tell them that if they want the forums run with these rules they need to follow them as well.  Otherwise like I said before, you can make all the rules in the world but it wont mean a thing.

If you're in a war, and your bed is messy, you don't say, "But the general's bed wasn't made either so this makes it hard for me to make my bed".  If you do you get punished.  REGARDLESS of how unfair it is you get punished.

When you're at a job, and you have to stay late, you don't say, "But the boss just went home so it makes it hard for me to stay late".  If you do you get fired.  REGARDLESS of how unfair it is you get fired.

When you're posting on a forum, and you have to follow guidelines, you don't say, "But the administrator doesn't so it makes it hard for me to follow the guidelines".  If you do you get punished.  REGARDLESS of how unfair it is you get punished.

Saying "The other guy does it so it's hard for me not to" especially when that person is of higher authority is pretty pathetic.  Serious.

Additionally, if you think the rules won't mean a thing, then you can test this theory out.  Break them, get banned, and see that they do mean something.

Taken from the rock, "Know your role".

I don't have to suspend/ban anyone; I never said I would do that at this time. Learn to read my posts because I am seriously getting tired of repeating myself constantly. If a dev team member posts something wrong then I will (and I have) delete it.

Is that all the reply I'm going to get?

You bitch and complain about everything, I tell you what I have and am doing and all you can come up with is meh. Next time try not to waste my time on things that obviously mean so little to you in the long run.
