Hartkeks, good question. In fact all I could come up with is the following from the Map Team sticky:
- All maps created by members must meet a high standard of gameplay & appearance.
- Betas will only be made available in a near final stage of the map. Alpha testing is allowed.
- Finalised maps must have a custom loading screen, map preview image and weather options added.
- If an official beta map never reaches a final stage it will be discarded eventually.
To those I would add the following requirements for beta maps:
-Map must be tested in-game before release (use DEV mode) to make sure there aren't any SCAR errors or obvious gameplay issues
-The layout should be at least 80% finalized
-The level of detail should approach that of Relic maps (in terms of spats and decorations). Doesn't have to be fully detailed yet.
-Screenshots (including in-game tactical map showing sectors) must be present in the map thread and at least one day should be allowed for community comment before releasing the first Beta.
-Finally, you must have PMed Unkn0wn or Kolath asking tobe added to the Module. We will judge if the map is Beta-worthy and will have fldash include it in the mod.
