Nice open yet urban feel.

As mentioned, captures that post-Bastogne BoB mission really well.

2 sectors at that front line makes it hard to advance.

Overall pretty neat.

I'll be updating this to beta 2 in a few days, post if you have found any bugs with the map, lots of height-mapping coming in the next version.

I find this too defense heavy.
2 HMGs and 2 PAKs can entirely shut down an infantrydriven offensive.

Yeah unfortunately I cannot start placing down groves to lower the amount of area you can cover, it would ruin the feeling of the map.  I am always trying to find new ways to add cover to my maps that fit the theme of the one I'm working on, and hopefully making it easier on the attackers.

I know I've been away for a while, but I was curious as to what people thought of the map and if there would be an interest if I brought it up to date with:

-Full Elevation editing done
-More Detail
-More Building Damage
-More Cover
-Etc...

Anything else if anyone has to add would be appreciated if people would like a new version of this, I have some time to do it, so leave any feedback on the map if you have played it and any suggestions you may have.

Let me know. Wink

Edit: Also shot blockers would be added to ruined buildings, and lighting would be fixed as well. Tongue

I think you should get rid of the ugly town in the middle of the map  Tongue.

Look into the camera and say "Oink".   Wink

Grats Warbirds!

So anyways, I'll only have a few days to pump out a new version, do people still play the map?  We need FL- or someone to post map statistics update.

I have enjoyed playing the map, I would certainly be interested in try to get it played a bit more after a little update Smiley. Next game I play on it I'll try to keep my eyes open for anything specific I think could use improvements, my mental image of the map is not precise enough to come up with any now. Most important feature of the map: urban, but not as clogged up as most 'towny' maps Smiley.

the map could use a billion improvements, but most of them revolve around getting a new mapper to actually make the map in the first place Wink

(its one of my fav maps thb)

Love this map.  Been trying to play it forever, and I finally did a few days ago(With salan).

Overall, I think its a balanced map and the town seems fairly easy to assult, unlike most towny maps.

The spawn arty should be made though so you can go all over the town.  Theres like, 2 houses you cant go into, and you can wait 5 feet away and just jump in as soon as they are on the field.  Its just a nuisence and doesnt affect the outcome.

I love the snowy kinda sleepy town enviroment though.  Definatly one of my fav maps atmospher(too lazy to fix spelling) and gameplay wise.
