Dear community,
I am new to this game but I read several newbie-guides before posting this. There is still one thing that was not answered by the threads that I found:

It is obviously possible to have multiple profiles in EiR, but how exactly is that achieved?

Do I have to create a totally new EiR-user account for every faction and every doctrine I want to create an army with? This meant that I needed six user accounts to have the full choice of playing-styles.
Or is there an account function to gain access to both factions and all six doctrines through one single user account?

When there is, where can I find it?
When there isn't, why isn't it there?

You have to make additional Forum profiles.

Only this way you can play several doctrines.

Btw, you can actually use one relic online profile (same account always) for an allied and axis account from what I heard, but I suggest making a new aswell!

By "forum profile" I suggest you mean EiR community user account (new user name, new password etc.)?

I see.
I don't know, but i believe that it was extremely helpful and comfortable, too if a player had access to all factions and doctrines from one single EiR account. I don't know how much work this would be for the developement departement (Phil?) but just think of the upcoming EiR v2.0 with two more factions and 6 more doctrines! All in all a player had to make 12 accounts in the EiR community to be able to play every faction and doctrine. The work might be worth it. I am willing to help if I can.
What do other users and the developers say?
