Thread of the year.
Sadly, Hermie will meet his end just like the Pwnicer and the legions of other crazed Vet units before him.

Step out of the way. He'll keep going until he hits a wall, that being Akranadas. Let him go unmolested, his journey will take less time.

Also, I lost a game due to not enough anti-infantry units, so airborne get double damage at each vet level.
More changes to come.

Neither did my Sherman
.
And if Apex is lucky, his vet 3 KT will make it to the end and retire as well

Yea, it'll depend on how long the war will last
.
Like all top leaderboard units, I doubt it would survive another 30 days of war!

Hermie was due for a showdown with Hector, but was unfortunately sabotaged and was unable to make it into the battle.

We should be able to name our vet tanks in platoon management, then it could show up on the leaderboard, that'd be so awesome

I regretfully inform the CoH community that Hermie bit the dust as of 10 minutes ago. After 2 more battles where he destroyed 2 more Panzer 4s, a Stug, an Ostwind and Puma, his final act was to engage a StuG pushing a weak flank.
A cloaked Pak took its first shot, inflicting terrible damage. Hermie popped his smoke dispenser, but despite the smoke, the Pak had a lucky 2nd hit, and Hermie was no more.
Upon hearing of Hermie's demise, the rest of the company flew into a terrible, murderous rage. M10s rampaged across the map, heedless of their own safety, in 1 instance running down and shooting a fleeing vet 3 axis sniper into gory pieces.
The villainous Pak that was responsible for Hermie's demise was viciously run down by an avenging squad of riflemen, and caught it just before it could escape the battlefield.
RiP Hermie

Shermans should come pre upgunned. It's so BS that we have to pay for it when Axis get Stugs and P4s as basic tanks with normal guns.

I hope that was sarcasm. Forcing Allies to buy Upgunned Shermans would be a pretty big nerf.

Well... it's hardly fair...our armour is pathetic unless you get a Pershing...but Axis can field like 3 Stugs and 2 P4s to our 3 up gunned Shermans? Hmm.
