Hello there everyone! This is ThetaCommander. This is probably on very short notice, but for all those out there who has time for a game HOI but didn't make it to the other two official games, you're welcomed to join mines! An unknown number of my friends may join.
We're running 1.2 VBLB Armageddon. If you don't have Armageddon, you can torrent it or buy it. Armageddon is the expansion to Doomsday which fixes alot of bugs and add another scenario which isn't that great but it's worth it for the fixes.
Additionally, we're starting in 1936 so be prepared to stay for a while. Try to have at least 4-5 hours of time to waste.
Schedule can be changed if we have some people who are about 30 minutes off from being able to join the game or if we do not have enough players.
Enough with the talk, let's see who will play what!
America - ThetaCommander (Snarks)
Great Britain -
Canada - TheWarDoc (friend of mines)
France (Optional and not recommended) -
Soviet Union - Apex
Japan - Golemeric
Germany -
Italy - Unkn0wn
Replacements - DaysofWar, Saint
No couping, every other espionage options will be allowed
Democracies cannot declare war
Alternative history
Partial IC for control of other nation's territories
Difficulty - Normal, and midrange for all settings
Game Speed - Normal or below
Version played : 1.2 VBLV
Games played on: Friday 4-9 PM PST (Tomorrow!)
Year: 1938
Game session 1: Finland erupts in a civil war ending with the Soviet Union annexing it. Afghanistan was also annexed by the Soviet Union. Canada joins the Soviets.
Additional Notes: I've removed a few players who didn't show up and I'm removing UAC-Marine from the group due to poor sportsmanship. DaysofWars may also want to practice a bit more before playing.

Even if you do have to leave after 5 hours, it's better than having an AI play Italy the entire game. If you still want to play, even for a small bit, reply within the hour. Well, I guess I should have mentioned that the Soviet Union has a ton of dissent and partisan activity in the Balkans, Finland, and Afghanistan are near 100% with no sign of it dropping any time soon. I'm still looking for players, if you want to play, just make a post with your nation of choice and a secondary one in case. |
