First of all whats a gridkey: SMALL GUIDE Download To make 'GridKeys' run put the WW2Data_KeyDefaults.sga file in WW2/Archive folder. It should instantly effect EiR. (thx fldash for fast support) If you don't want to use gridkey just don't put that file in WW2/Archive folder.ALSO if you want it to use it in vCoH copy RelicCoH.module (provided in rar, DO THE BACKUP OF ORIGINAL) to main CoH folder (overwrite) pre-problem post: as you can see it maps all keys to a simple grid so they are not scattered around. why do i post about it? because when i modify EuropeInRuins.module file by adding line ( [data:common:02] archive.05 = WW2\Archives\WW2data_defaultkeys) which is required to install gridkeys, EiR launcher says that file is outdated or incorrect. Is there any possability that sooner or later such thing will be useable?

Thank you, but it would be better if it wasn't required to use for everyone. Some people might like hotkeys just like they are.
oh and whats ETA of this "fix" ?

It's already in place. And it will only affect those that have the file: WW2\Archives\WW2data_defaultkeys

Well, I'll be damned but there is no WW2\Archives\WW2data_defaultkeys in my EuropeInRuins.module at [data:common:02] section. I might have overlooked something. Please enlighten me fldash

any modification in this line makes EiR Launcher re-download the .module file
edit: sorry fldash for beign such an ass but really. it's just not there and EiR launcher just says "NO" to gridkeys.

just add it into the module after you extract the battle file and the launcher closes...or use an auto executing .bat (like what i made for language fix) that copies a .module from B and overwrites A automatically after launcher close.

Well yeah, i could that but it's far more difficult then adding for example line "archive.01 = EuropeInRuins\Archives\EuropeInRunisGridkey" as a line basicly provided and checked by EIR launcher, you would only need to get gridkeys and apply them.
what i will try to do is to rename Gridkey file to "EuropeInRunisCameraOption" which is basic line and it's passed by EiR Launcher. It might work out.

FLDASH. sorry for double posting but this just came through.
the proper line should be archive.01 = WW2\Archives\WW2Data_KeyDefaults. Sorry for bothering again.

Wait, so Grid Keys will only work if we overwrite/fix the EiR.module file with that one line everybody has been talking about?
Grr I want my gridkeys! (I keep pressing T to retreat and nothing is happening. >.<,)
