News from the front:
Our 699th Blitzkrieg (LtMatt), 204th Blitzkrieg (GenSturm) and 91st Blitzkrieg (Elcoolio) divisions beat back the 852nd Airborne (nated0g), 607th Airborne (MrTom07) and 870th Airborne (ZephyrAngel) divisions in a contained engagement. The fight ended early as the Allies retreated. We sustained minimal casualties. The Allies have failed time and time again to make any progress against our resilient German heros! Our boys aren't giving the Americans anything! Allied morale is at it lowest and the rumors of an Axis counter-attack seem to be coming true!

there is nothing strange but the point is that there was HOWITZER on a field
battle #10373 REPLAY

The theory that LtMatt pulled out is that one of airborne capped howitzer in earlier game. Thus how come he can use it?. Or maybe its website bug (wrong doctrine name)?

Yeah we were surprised to see a howitzer, my only thought was that it could have been captured from a previous game.  Tongue

When I was in an earlier battle I did take up a de-crewed howitzer my ally had.

We won the battle but I was allowed to keep the howitzer for some unknown reason.

This was in another topic. Any weapon you pick up & retreat with or end the game with is yours. This includes doctrine specifics IE the howie. Enemy weapons are automatically converted to your sides equivalent.

I occasionally have howitzers on my armour company, it's no big deal.

If you are allies and you take your teammates howitzer you get to keep it no matter what doctrine you are, and if you are axis you cap a flak88 you get to keep it no matter what.

Just a note. You must still pay the cost in your company TAV.

Yeh i had a howitzer early on the war playing as allies (airborne)
It was sweet and funny playing a 2v2 game with an armor teamate, and like half the game i roll the howi, and i start shooting :p

I doubt any one cares.

We're all too excited at the thought of you mentioning 2.0

Em, Fl-? No more weapon re-crewing? Ever? Or is this just something you're leaving until post-2.0?

I think he means that you can recrew them but you don't get to keep them after a battle. Probably to do with the platoon system

Those are support teams. BARs (and LMGs, and Shreks) are upgrades.
