Now it wouldn't really make sense to have everyone post replays, but just tell a story about some of the ridiculous pathing you've had to deal with.

Most vehicles have frustrating pathing, but nothing is worse, or more hilarious then the axis bike especially after it gets vet 1 which makes it 20% faster. I was telling my bike to go place to place and upon clicking on it, it would do a 360 then drive off, and make completely unnecessary turns. I felt like I was playing a game of excite bike with it.

If you wanted me to tell all mine, Id be here for an hour, so I'll just stick with my 2 most frustrating ones:

1) Halftrack pathing. My halftrack was next to some sandbags on bastion, to the south of the gate, towards the big open swamp. 1 pak shot, half health. I tell it to back up and retreat. It does a 360, and runs into a wall, then gets killed. All the while it could've backed up and crushed the sandbags and escaped.

2)Pershing pathing. Recent game on abbeville. In the chateau (spelling) there is this little tree. Pershing proceeds to get shot by 2 PAK's while in front of the tree.Tell it to back up, it turns around, goes around the tree, and gets stuck on ANOTHER tiny tree, nearly dieing. All by a TANK with HEAVY CRUSH.  Angry

I've lost more veteran Crocs because, instead of putting into reverse gear, the paper croc decides to show its broad side or charge tail forward into combat.

I just love it when your tank decides to turn the other way when you're telling it to face its frontal armor to that enemy tank. It seems to be much more prevalent on large tanks such as the Tiger, Pershing, and Panther.

My King Tiger was at full health. He had just killed a full infantry squad w/ bazooka, a halftrack and a sherman. He got stuck behind some trees!

So, there he is (and at this time he's vet 3, it was some time ago before i went back to allies). He's firing away and with no repair support (but some minor auxilliary armor and infantry support from me and my allies) manages to kill another two shermans, a pershing, a greyhound, two AT guns, and some more people. Then I realize he's about to die, so he starts moving away from teh trees. Then, instead of moving backwards, he turns around in the oafy KT-style. He spends 10 seconds in the thick of the ally respawn zone where a bunch of AT is pouring outta there. I fire my two nebels to try to kill the enemies, assuming my KT will be out of the firing zone by then. He almost is, then loses his engine. Rockets pour on him, but he lives!

My KT then turns into some trees and does some stupid-ass squiqly line thing trying to move out. As he does that he has almost no hp's remaining. He finally starts to move out of the little forest (this is on Radar Station) and then out of nowhere a bazooka squad comes up his back and asplodes him.

Relic really just needs to install a "reverse" button on all vehicles.

Yeah. I just decided it would be fun to try a tank-heavy company and pretty much watched my StuGs, P4 and Tiger do ice skating spins in front of AT guns.

I've used both AmPm. Pershings are much worse.

I think that power-sliding StuG's win for funniest pathing, although when the MarderIII gets in here, that will have the worst by far.  So much goddamn failure.

Marder sucks, but power-sliding StuG's are evil! I flipping lost 3 infantry squads WITH bazookas to run because it would just run circles around my infantry. Then, as they tried to run away they'd be stupid and run INTO the stug on crack!

What isn't?

I can't count the times where the damned thing turned on its own axis in the opposite direction from the target, then it has the fun problems that the StuG has with the no-turret thing.  Then we've got the problem where the range is actually so long that the gun keeps resiting on different targets.

It's a fuckin' party.

Oh man I had a power sliding stug today! It would be pretty useful if I could control it, because they go so damned fast when powersliding.

Tell me about it. Requires a hell lot of attention to keep my Pershings with front armour facing front. Any obstacles in the way like uncrushable trees, a nearby road the tank is not on will cause it to spin around even if you click behind it.

You need to click in the sweet spot behind the tank to keep the damn thing from spinning around.

My Panther and Ostwind are easier to control and generally do what I tell them to do.

I have vet 3 for all 3 units so I've had quite a bit of experience keeping them alive in combat.

its allied, of course its much worse, jezz AmPm think before you speak  Roll Eyes.

in my experience its any heavy tank with heavy crush, getting stopped by one of those none crushable trees, this is utterly stupid, stop putting super trees in your maps.

i had a Pershing that when told to back up when two Panthers where coming and it was on ableville (spelling) and it was between the two houses on the south west. It went and failed to do what it wanted but to hit every wall of the two buildings and got its ass shot by the panthers.

Then one day ago I lost all control of my Tiger. We quit the game and had all our units falling off the map they had vet 2-3 airborn, rangers, tank reapers, and 3 tanks long gun. Since i called my tank on the field but there was a min lag it came on. It was a vet 2 tiger and for 30 sec it wouldn't do anything i told it to such as turn around or stop it was just heading to the mass group of allied units. After i had control of my tank i sent it off the map it was almost in range of their tank reapers. After that tank got off the field  the driver was taken to a field and shot.

I have many more.
