I experienced a game breaking bug twice. The problem with the game is that it suddenly turns into a black screen or a flickering screen which I cannot see anything at all!

When I receive the black screen;
i) I can see my bottom console
ii) I can't see anything above it
iii) I can only see anything if I open up the tactical view of the whole map

When I receive the flickering screen;
i) The WHOLE coh just flickers constantly on the last viewed screen (which I alt-tab to windows)

I had something like this once. So;

-One issue coud be a overheated/used Graphiccard; Make sure its not running for hours before you play and turn down your graphics a bit.
-Get latest DirectX and GraphicCard Driver
-Dont alt tab?
-Some instant messangers like ICQ our aim can cause this as well.

Yeah I've gotten this before, as well, its very annoying, especially when a lot of vet units are on the field. Seems like since patch 2.3 My computer has gotten very tempermental.

I had this happen to me only once 2 days ago.

Most probably that was due to an overheating vga card. Unfortunately, it happened in the most annoying and embarassing time, ingame and while fully deployed. Loosing my units isn't so much of a problem, but having to exit a 4v4 gamr and leaving your team crippled is.

You have too little memory on your graphics card or your system, thats my slightly educated guess. I used to have ll kinds of alt tab problems on 2 gb ram systems, after I went 4 gb + its never been a issue,

I even once had coh main menu running in background while I played dow 2, didnt notice
