Earlier today we had a news report that a sniper attached to the 28th Air support wing was lost in combat.  This is shocking news as this soldier had been with the division since the beginning, one of the few founding members left, or so we are told.  We are led to believe that he had 30 battles under his belt, and had well over 300 kills marked to his personal credit.

Alas his leaving us comes as an ironic joke... He sat forgotten near a triage as battle raged for 20 minutes on the other side of the map, completely forgotten by his commanders until that fate-full message.  SNIPER DOWN. and then... silence, followed by WHAT THE FUCK, OH SHIT !!!

A minute of silence for a great warrior...

Nothing hurts more then having units in two or more parts of the map. I don't think any of my founding members of any company last any longer then 3 games =(

I have a Panther that has lived through many many games, probably nearing 50 or so games.

Well Its hard to stay alive in my games with the dropping issues. It'll usually end up to a 1v2 or 2v3 or 1v3 and me being on the lesser side.  Undecided

My man have the force, they use the weapon with there mind Wink

Fldash brings it to the point;
I'm looking into it... not sure if I'll be able to give them back, but maybe I can fix it from happening again.  And why do you have the most crazy shit happen to you?

My vet sniper got hit by an AT gun after his first shot.

That was a big  Huh moment

It was something like this

Sniper: TAKE THIS VET 2 BAR SQUAD.

-off in the instant boom-

-SNIPER DOWN-

I dont EVER use snipers because i think its a gay, and unrealistic unit, especially in EiR.

The invisibility should be changed to the way goliaths work, that would be fine. Lower the costs, make it realistic and I would start using them as forward observers and maybe to assist in tough situations...

It would be less of a pain in the ass and make it feel much better.

IMHO

this reminds me of my vet 3 storm Embarrassed i had him since he was a wee recruit, over 45 games 375 kills. he got hit by a Howie barrage and lived. and while he was retreating he was  shot by a sniper.

good times good times, when i was played once he ran into a AB blob and forced all 4 squads to retreat without a shot fired lol.

I hate people that intentionally go for those sniper gibs on retreating troops.

Atleast we kill the sniper !
