Quick question to the vets here
just got the york and find it to be the slowest ship on the seas, currently have a max of 29knts with a overheat of approx 37. Is that standard my engineer is lvl 42, guns are improving now that my trip 8's have a lvl 42 gunners but the thing is so slow, should i lvl up another engineer?

1 engineer is good enough imo. The ships are just that slow. My Admiral Hipper goes 23 knots top speed. Of course I have 80 points of bulge armor though. |

Anthony, don't ever lose a knot with german armor, including bulge. Just put on as much bulge as you can without losing a single know of overheat, and that's it. German success depends upon speed and range. Also, scrap all other armor except .2 belt.
Also, learn to dodge torps/stay away from obvious torpers (fubukis, simas, DDs in general)
