I don't know how many people know much about this game, but it is what started 'war gaming' for me...

there was an old version of the board game released by hasbro on the computer, then a newer updated version a few years later.  this is an actual graphic version of the board game, and is real time turn based whatever... not like a 12 hour delayed diplomacy game.

anyways its free to download from the underdogs, if anyone is interested in playing a game or two, such a fun game... and not so complicated as the stupid HoI

I love this game, it's the only boardgame I still like playing occasionally.
However, HOI > A&A imho Smiley. At least when you're intending on playing online you're better off with HOI.

But fun for some reason once you do understand wtf is going on. I like the idea of commanding the forces and setting up epic flanks. After watching the Military channel, I want to play HOI.

 We still get together and play A&A along with the Pacific and Europe board games as well great game but one thing about the Computer version there are a few bugs like sometimes you lose planes because they will not land on your aircraft carriers and the dice rolls seem a bit off...

The Germans in Greek
Are sadly to seek;
Not five in five score,
But ninety-five more;
All, save only Hermann,
And Hermann's a German.

Just install HOI and learn to play it, it's well worth the, at first seemingly impossible, learning curve Wink.
