Fuck me this game is hard... I am on the Humvee mission in the campaign, damn command controls are really clunky and hard to be precise with...

Anyway anybody else got this game, if so, got any tips?

First mission; Just always stay behind your squad. The first is imo also the worst one and others are more easy :O...

why do you call everybody "darling"?

-Stay behind your m8´s. No, not that close, no contact, bad cozmo!
-Stay behind heavy cover and just lean left and right with Q and E to fire on enemys.
-Use 3rd person (enter) to view a bigger area, fire in 1st person for better accuracy.
-If you use the same cover all the time the enemy will flank you and expect you at that pos.

the Humvee mission is really annoying, if i have the other guys on the turret they decide not to shoot and just stand their until they die (which is pretty fast) and the guys just sit in the Humvee until a round comes whistling though the glass and cracks them over the head.

Give them a target ( Select gunner, press 2 for targets, select one)  or just tell them to open fire (select, 3 then 3 I think). Your missing a lot without MP

yea, i got ArmA in the post today, installing it now.

Me an ThTB were playing this game for literately hours.

First we joined a public server with the "evolution" mod, you choose your team and do missions together, but that got boring after a while so we decided to have sniper wars and AT rocket wars up and down the run way.

But then that got boring so we Thought it would be fun to snipe random players in the friendly base, place satchel charges and destroy the friendly base as well as shoot other players stryker APC's... while they were in them.

Of course... we got banned.

So on to the next server, we joined one running Sahrini(how ever it is spelt) life, one side is the cops (whole job is to make sure the place is law abiding and one side is the civilians who just need to make money... however possible.

We started off as cops, went to the bank and decided to be on guard duty, needless to say i was still working out all the things i could do as a cop and was stunning, fining and arresting everybody i came across, that didn't go down too well and the civilians started getting pisses off. so we thought we would go someplace else and set up a road block and stop and search random peds as they came past.

Not many came, and the ones that did were clean so that go boring, so off to civilian life we go!

First off we got a car and a single pistol (yea we were poor having to share the gun) and drove to the bank, there was one guard, so we thought we could drive around the corner then jump out and shoot him, not to be, this guard was very jumpy and trigger happy so he had shot us before we got round the corner... We weren't even doing anything wrong.

Time for a second try, got another car and another gun, this time we found a lone cop in a Humvee with a .50 cal atop. Of course he wanted to detain and search us for something to do, we got out dutifully (leaving the gun in the car), then THTB jumped in the .50cal of the Humvee, the cop had to take cover below the .50's firing arc but in doing do couldn't shoot thtb, so i took the gun from the car and shot him (he must have forgotten i was there).

So now we have an armored Humvee with a .50cal, awesome. So what now... The bank of course so off we go, luckily there is no one there, and thtb steals $80,000 and off we go in our awesome getaway thingy (boy that cop must have been pissed). initially we were sorta followed by a helicopter but the .50cal made short work of it and we sped out into the country side were the cops couldn't find us, we both brought some property with our new loot as well as some LSD<--- makes your eyes hurt with the HDR lighting.

So now we needed to wait for a cool off before we deposited our money, so some more driving ensued until the cops had given up the search, this time we decided on a more clandestine approach to the bank, no one on the .50cal and with us constantly telling the cops we found this Humvee and are bringing it back to them, we planned to jump on the .50cal and mow who ever lay in our way down as soon as we got close, but once again nobody to be seen at the bank, so THTB robbed it again while i watched the entrance on the .50cal. Then, beep, beep, BOOM! off goes a satchel charge, those pesky cops had booby trapped the bank!

After that we tried robbing the bank a few times, none really succeeded, Thtb got killed in his car while escaping and i hid in a bush with the money until a Humvee ran me over.

During the closing time of our adventure in sahrini we ambushed two more cops one by the pistol shop, i distracted him while thtb brought a gun then he shot him, and i took his car. <--- we tried robbing the bank the the out come in the paragraph above this one.

Anyway, what would make this better is if you ALL got ArmA and WE ALL joined this server and ran riot!

Also there is a reason why there where no cops around. The civilans went mad after we where real badass cops and started chanting revoulotion and one civ started handing out ak´s. So i no time there was a war going on all over the town witch we used for our advantage

Yea, i checked that out but the mod wont install (keeps being corrupt), but anyway i am joining two clans (22nd and 24th SAS clans)
