Hey all.
I've had this message on my computer for close to an hour or so, but I think I'm about right to post now.
I've been apart of this community for over 16 months now, and have been through various stages of popularity and I've always stood by the mod, going with the ups and downs. But recently, it's been different; this isn't like the drought between OF and EiR working again, this is one where development has pretty much ceased to exist, in one form or another.
Now, I don't know about you guys but sitting around these forums, playing the same game that I played 8 months ago is getting tiring for me. I'm pretty much using time I should be using on more active projects than this one, and I can't be sitting here, waiting for the fabled 2.0 to come out because frankly, unless it has PE or Brits in it; I won't play it.
I know it sounds like I'm being selfish, or bring the mod/dev team down but I've seen a lot of things here and while Fldash and Ucross are great guys and I respect them both heaps, I just can't see 2.0 coming out before another CoH expansion does.
I love the community here, but lately it's just gotten to me to easy; I've lost patience with certain members and quite frankly want to strangle some others. But I can't be putting that kind of effort into maintaining something in the faint hope that it returns to it's former glory. A lot of the old members seemed to have move on as well, which I can't blame them to be honest. To the newer members, play it up while you can, it's a great mod and I am sure you'll enjoy it as much as I did/do.
I put a lot of effort into this mod which most of you wouldn't even know about, I was helping the dev team in the earlier days fan out 2.0 and even helped them do some design work via art, even things they never asked for. It's just a shame that none of what I created made its way into Europe in Ruins, even though it could have.
I'd like to show you some of it actually, if the development team doesn't like it being shown to you guys well they can delete it. I don't think it's harmful at all to be honest as I am sure it seriously out of date.
First up I have the menus I created using through the screenshot competition and one seriously nice picture that was actually stolen from poor bobik (first one) so take a look if you haven't already seen it. These actually all work in game, and it's simple to get them working.
Next is the ingame menu, again simple to make, easy to implement and it works.
This was something I released a long time ago to the public and it probably inspired the medals the devs handed out. It's basically a player score card.
This I doubt any of you have seen, it was a concept for a new doctrine page of the forums. Nothing more; nothing less.

Well, beyond that there's about 100+ icons I made, but there's to many to post here.
So.... I'm leaving. I won't be doing any moderating anyone here (unless seriously needed) but I will be popping into the forums/vent to give a hello and have a chat or maybe even a game.
I'd like to say a special See ya to the following members who are great; Salan, Unknown, Nevyen, Jebus, Apex, Duvka, Ampm, Louis, Nate, Chubba, Scrapking, Kolath, Stumpster, Lai and most likely a few I forgot. Either way; those are great people, loved playing with them all the time, it's a shame that most of them went the way I am going.

For the record guys; I offered (repeatedly) to go beyond moderator of the forums and do some active things to better the mod (IE patches, process battles, restart wars ect) and generally try to get the mod ball rolling, but got no reply from FL so I gave up.
