Soldner: marine corps is now freeware, and has a huge community and following.

www.soldner.jowood.com

It would be fun to get some EIR ppl together and conduct a war, we have vent, and would be interesting to see the outcome, if we had a command structure and such.

be interesting to be the soldier instead of the general for a change, and best yet, the entire game world is destructible!

Andy isn't a real person for say, he is what we like to call a "bot" that goes from one forum to the other never sleeping. If you look now you will see this person on as we type.

http://soldner.jowood.com/
Is the correct link

I dunno though, better off playing RO/FH2/DoD/Project Reality if you want a good FPS.

I know Cronos not a bot, because of how he gets on vent.

I know I do the same, I mean, do I really need to let my team know "How the fuck did that stupid (insert unit name) take out my (insert unit name) from behind that (insert part of map)? That makes no sense, that's retarded..."

either way, ill check this out, but like said, I enjoy RO and PR for my WWII and modern day FPS tactical shooting. And CoD United Offense for some quick fun.

Also I'm curious how does the game work? Is it like an RPG where when you do well you can buy different weapons?

One more thing, where do I DL? I am DLing the full patch, but I'm guesing there is something else to DL as well?

The full release of the community version is not released yet, i will post when it is, and it is like operation flashpoint, but a little more sophisticated, has the ability to fly planes, choppers, use tanks, and all that fun stuff

K, boys i played that game 4 ever with the expansion pack. Way before i got ArmA.

Most of the time you propatly be playing CTF on the only decent map Wink.

The best things about the game propatly are;
-Choice. You get some start money, but what you buy with it is up to you. A shitload of weapons and veh. await.
-Destroyable terrain and Buildings, but you cant really devestage a whole map, takes a lot of explosivs to make small holes...
-Teamplay

Biggest downside´s;
-Camping is easy and effectiv, especially as sniper with one of those rifles that cost as much as a attack helicopter :O, claymores also help.
-Some Bugs, some lag
-Ugly graphic.

I'll go play Medal of Honor:Airbourne or COD4  or GTA4 while I wait for Brothers in Arms Hells Highway instead.  Undecided Maybe I don't have to listen to some 10yr old typing about how big his ____ is and how he'll make u suck it. I hate PC games for that. If its on my Xbox I can mute them. I'd play if it has a mute feature. Does it?
