That blitzkrieg was fucking amazing. Germans got a pretty solid defensive wall too. Totally unexpected if you ask me, they have been playing like shit in their last few matches and all of the sudden they pull this kind of quality out of their sleeves. Amazing!

GO DEUTSCHLAND!! SCHNELLER!

My bet for finals: Germany - Netherlands.

I'm just hoping that Holland - Russia and Holland - Spain turn out to be as good as they sound. Those are 3 teams that play extremely aggressively and it's great to watch.

yeah i cant wait to see it.

Germany played surprising well but I will dedicate all their efforts to Schweinsteiger. 2 assists and a goal. Their defense could've been better but they seriously perfected their set pieces cause god those were beautiful. If it wasn't for those, Portugal could've had it hands down.

But if you look at the standings, 2morow Croatia plays Turkey, and if my assumption is right, Croatia is going to win. Therefore, Germany will be up against them AGAIN. Do you have enough faith in Germany to not screw up twice? I have doubts, but I hope they can pull their weight.

Netherlands vs Russia is going to be a really nice game, but not sure how Russia's performance will be with a top class team, even if they have the best coach out there. Before their Sweden game, Swedish crowds sat outside Russia's hotel and sang all night and day until the game started, to give them no sleep, and they vandalised the van Euro gave them. With that, Russia built enough anger to have the hunger to beat them. Will this hunger be there against netherland? I guess time will tell Smiley

It's been an interesting year of Euro. Underdogs keep rising, and top dogs keep failing.

P.S. (the score was Germany 3 - 2 Portugal)

Personally I find that it's mostly the "top dogs" failing more than anyone rising. Some you could see from miles away though, like Czech Rep, France, Italy, Portugal, Greece (lol). Spain IMO too so far. They totally fell apart after their first game, like they always do.

Holland IMO is the only thing saving this euro. And maybe Russia if they can show another good game.
