I don't know how old ryu is, but I blame his ignorance on youth. If you didn't get into PC gaming until WoW then you missed out on C&C games, Dungeon Keeper games, RTCW, older blizzard games, and a whole host of other amazing classics.

I would have agreed with you up until the point that the gayness that is WoW came out.  They had put up with alot of stuff, never jumping on the bandwagon until they put out the shit that is WoW.  Yea its the best MMO in the world blah blah blah, but its still shit IMO because it is a M M O!

Also combine with that that the original creators of Diablo left relic, as well as many of their  other talent and that hurt them.  Now I think this game looks amazing, and they have kept to the core of the gameplay and a good storyline.  I just hope (as well as everyone else) that Bnet stays free and that you dont have to pay to play it because that WILL turn many away from it, including me.

man, the org. diablo crew left blizzard and failed horribly at making a game[HGL].  I have a feeling that the quality of a game relies more and the resources that a successful company can provide (for things such as art, armies of coders, and most especially time to complete the product) than who is making it.  Everyone has good ideas but it takes a lot of money to make those ideas work as intended.  D3 will rock because it is a legacy Blizzard franchise with a clear set of ideals and a reputation that will attract the best game devs.

Gameplay video shows that you will be able to have a male & female version of each character.
Pretty impressive because that pretty much requires every piece of clothing/armour that is already characterspecific to be made genderspecific too.

On another note. Slightly sarcastic above. NC Soft has created an amazing game called Lineage 2. Beautiful game. My favorite MMORPG. None so far has matched it in my personal opinion.

I'm beginning to lose respect on you...
Lineage 1+2 are grinding monsters, to level up quickly you have to slaughter monsters days long.
I played Lineage 2 for 2 Months, only got lvl 21 but atleast got a neat blade with 'bout +130 spell damage.
It was just farming all day long.
I know they fixed it to an extent, but while that game is the essence of online games, it's by far not the best.

I built my pala in diablo to fight socceress.
With 90+ resistance + some absorb even in hell I would heal on fire and lightning and be near immune to frost, while casting that autotargeting spell, heavens fist? , It was truely funny, some sorc makes a portal, i head through (hc, bout lvl 40 I was) player turns hostile, ports to me, I watch him some seconds, open a portal, get back home and laugh at him.

well u dont need to respect me, but respect the graphics. I would never play on official server anyways. Only private servers where you can spend 5 minutes leveling, 2 hours pk'ing.

I'm 17... and i had a PC long before WoW... Red alert 1 came with my first ever PC, and i have never a Dungeon Keeper Game or any of blizzards other games ESPECIALLY Star Craft, you would not catch me dead playing that... thing...
