Homeworld is old too, SC is old too. But dont you dare talk rubbish about them old classics Cry

I dislike classics i am all about the new gen graphics with all the cool open world gameplay this gen is bringing along (Hence i have a huge hard-on for farcry 2!, that game is like a dream come true.)

Thats fine, everyone has their poison. I personally dislike games purely based on graphics and "open-world environments" because they never fit my expectations.

When I hear open world, I want OPEN world, not a "big box" with largely undetailed environments and generic gameplay.

I have a friend who can play the same cookie cutter game every time and still has fun. For instance, he likes BFME for its RTS and LOTR theme, but refuses to play CoH(not even try it) because he says that if it involves guns, he "has to be there".

He's missed out on a lot of good games, both old and new but thats what clicks him.

Spore will be perfect then because you can travel across the entire "worlds" in the game  Cheesy too bad the planets look like they are no bigger then a super walmart.

I liked the idea of Spore when it was all about evolution, the choices you made at specific times due to your circumstances would result in a creature or society that reflects that. Then I found out you just create whatever the hell you want.
