I think Independence day does bring in the Military, not nowadays military, but the Military back when we got Independence. And they already suggest July 4th isn't actually when we got independence. They Believe it was in August or Somewhere in the fall.2

(Read the Text, bonte....)
*Kicks Out the Socialist*

As a side note, that Wilder guy is the one singing the song in the video, right? I saw him perform a few years back in Lompoc, he's awesome. Unfourtunately, he has cancer Sad. I think its the kind that can be removed, though.

Lol. That ain't Mexican food, that's Tex-Mex, Mexican food Americanized to be large and disgusting. REAL Mexican food is maybe....eh....a quarter of that size?

I AM A MEXICAN lulz XD! Mexican-american, hispanic, latino, take your pic of name, and the following dishes are served here with only a small loss in quality over mexico because they don't make them as kick-ass as they do in mitoachan Sad.

-Mochahete! (tastytastytasty)
-TACOS (it's a tortilla with meat, how can you change that? Cheesy)
-Our variety of waters!
-Posole and every other mexican dish is almost never served in resturaunts though, so go to mexico for that awesome stuff!

Apologies for the confusion. July 4 is NOT 'Independence Day'. July 4 is the day we declared our autonomy as a separate entity from Britain. Thank you Spitfire for the correction! Praise our military, our people, our government, our culture, and the world which exists totally influence by the mix of ideas allowed by the glorious United States of America! Praise everything American on July 4!

Damn, if I had that much money to blow I would've bought some guns  Cheesy. I missed out on the 4th (vacation) and would've tried to organize some shooting events or go to the machinegun shoots where they blow up cars and stuff Grin

That's funny you say that, because as far as i know that concept applies to any other nation. Why just single the US?

isnt the reason america launches off fireworks on the 4th is because it represents the bombs and simple rockets in the war and battles fought for independence,

When it was young, most likely. Nowadays people just want to see the pretty colors, hear the bangs, and unleash there inner pyromaniac.  Grin

For children yes the pyromaniac part, with most adults the inner part.

For someone like me, the fireworks do represent the battles fought and the many lives lost for the independence we gained and not appreciated by most Americans. Being a US Marine nearly for 6 years now, the 4th of July is always an emotion filled day for me.

Because none of them have had a successful war with a foreign anything without needing the US.

The times europe does try is when the UN 'invades' a place and just sits their UN asses down and do nothing, 'else they complain to their UN union.

and...we got hammertime!
