Well I know Akrandaswent into a new mod. Well I'm going to go into modding for a while too. I have a couple questions.
1.What do you want to see in a single-player mod.
2.Do you want new units?Give me an idea?
3.Tank Combat?Do you want Panthers to realisticly One shot a Sherman?(I will balance everything out.
4.Snipers?No Camo or Camo?
5.AT guns?Do you want damage increase?
6.Engineer repair rates? Same as EIR?Same as VCoh?In the middle?
7.Infantry Upgrade Costs?Do you want a lot of MP40/Thompsons. Or a few?
8.Do you want alot of pop cap or a little?
9.Any other suggestions?

Please be serious with me. I want to try some modding (I do know how)

Something that is not normal vCoH gameplay.
Not just another mod with slightly edited states and units....

3. No you will not

4. No snipers

5. Maybe short Range dmg....

6. How cares, just let them fix engine dmg and therelike first

Small squad sizes similar as in vCoH
no new units, unless your adding Doctorine Choices such as paradropping Falshimjagers
Panther 1 shot sherman is going towards realism, if your doing that, then your doing all realism. Otherwise, i would keep it as it is in BoTB

Snipers camo only when standing still, or keep camo but increase detection radius by x2, basicly give everyone omniscience

Slight increase in damage, increase range

Few SMG upgrades, more minor upgrades, custom upgrades small stuff that is cheap.

Little pop cap. I hate those lag fests

If singleplayer. LOTS and LOTS of SCAR coding.

I was thinking about AB with Thompson Upgrade and Rifles too.

Its not like EIR where they'd drop on top of you with Thompsons,but you'd buy it the way rangers do in VCoh. That or I will give them BARS

doesn't matter if they do or dont, they are the most survivable infantry unit in the game.

Airborne did actually drop with thompsons at times.
Why not something like a 'squadleader rifle, an upgrade for 1 thompson that is cheap and stacks with other upgrades?
I would like a little realism, why not 2shot a sherman? it's singleplayer as you stated, it may be slowpaced.
Snipers are part of the game and fine imo, but make them decloak far longer, like 5 seconds after every shot, and immobile when cloaked, with autocloak in yellow and green cover.
Nah, it's your mod.

What your gonna do with veterancy? Maybe something more tactically based? like extraupgrades (how bout a zook for 30 munition on rifles? in eir i would say 50, but then again it's sp Cheesy) or better use of cover.

You could make samll firearms more realistic, aswell as upgrades, like 2 stacking upgrades for 2 mp40 on volks each, and being able to set stg44 on semiauto, increasing accuracy while decreasing firespeed (high range) .

Ehh I'll just do it as it goes. Shocked Thanks for the inputs. Btw in vcoh, the M1 Garand does 7damage and volks have 65hp, So for realism I made the damage like 35-45. So it is two shots your out.

There is already a realism mod out of vCOH, go search it in . Its not very good in my opinion. Its a game. Too much realism and its crap to play.

I dont really want to have to spend 10-15 tanks to out manuvere a panther tank. Likewise, a shooting gallery is only fun for a little while.

Veterncy will be the hardest to balance as we know from this mod. I'd recommend tank vet to be more offensive based (as tanks dont get tougher with crews but function better) And a mix for infantry.

I think the game stats sytem is fine atm. If you'd want a bit of realism make accuracy different. Volks being genreally poor aim. GIs with average aim and Grens with good aim. Dito with tanks.

Glass tanks is a novel idea that i've seen in a few mods but few modders like. I mean, you can make shermans weak and stuff but give them good range like 88 range. same with tigers. and you get to use them in a nicely different way.
