I am trying to reformat my main PC (not this one) and i did the usual destructive recovery you can do but i wanted to install a different operating system.

I wasn't sure how to do a complete format so i popped in the recovery disk I made a few minutes earlier, but so far this disk has been installing shit for over 10 hours (AKA all evening and all last night), is there any way i can just wipe the fucking drive because all i want to do was install TinyXP (it needs a clean;y formatted drive).

any help would be appreciated.

don't worry it is all good, i just connected it too my second PC as a slave (second drive) and formated it from there. Seems to be ok.
