Nr 1. The spammablility of certain unit types which then win you the battle (see Nr 3 if your thinking "there are counters to everything").
Nr 2. The Queerness of some high-medium lvl players by setting up stacked games and then refusing to play with anyone who has a remote chance of beating them or has done so in the past.
Nr 3. The lack of sportsmanship among existing players especially when playing against/with new players (be it to EiR or to EiR and CoH).
These 3 are the main reasons why older players stop playing (especially due to nr 2) altogether, why the mod doesn't draw in new players ( 3&2) and while 1 fixable the latter 2 are deadly and can't be fixed easily.
Note: I am not referring to either the axis or the allied side in particular or their respective players.

Reasons for why People should ignore this thread.
Reason 1: It's Silverwolf posting. He probably just lost a game and typing in a rage induced fury.
Reason 2: Every community has its ups and downs. I suspect the EiR one will have many more 'deaths' to contend with before it really does lay down in the dirt and cough its last breath. The Community will only go down if people no longer contribute to it and I see no problem of that sort here.

I agree with Apex, due to the TLS event, EiR has not only got new members but we got older members back as well. The Vent server hasnt been this full in months and there is a general buzz once again about playing.

My god why is everyone so against this all the time. Its like people tell you to make a custom company to your own liking and just because your custom company is not equiped to fight it you wanna waah waah waah. The beauty of EiR is in the customization and planning and you want to take that away. You cant win every game no matter how skilled you are. If i'm using tank reapers and you just spam volks is that really a crime? Every match is not gonna always be in your favor. And as far as the matches not be fun, when was losing ever fun? Only one side can win. |

I lol at the spam thing. Like it is ONLY EiR that has spam. I'd much rather face EiR spam then fucking vCOH spam because if you lose in EiR it hurts more then if you lose a battle in vCOH.
