Ok I have some basic questions that don't require any tech support.

1. Is the map of Europe that you fight over up perpetually? Or does a map go up and is played for a specific time then one side wins and a new map goes up?

2. Do teams work together to punch though or hold certain lines is there any command structure?

3. After you win is this victory represented on the map?

There is a map, witch forces you to play on the same map over and over again.

Also its all RP - Style, but kinda without the Role....... ...

Also there are some randrom rules that nerf axis, and events that you never play in anyway. umm yeah. Thats it kinda...

TLS is a community campaign, in vEiR you can play what ever map you want and it just adds territories to the winning side that it takes from the side that lost.
Once one side reaches 4000, a new war starts.
TLS has a consitent map, but if there was ever a command structure, no one ever noticed.

Basically, in the beginning there was EiR and it was good.  But then the development team got burned out and quit back in April and they never released version 2.0 which was supposed to add British/PE, add a warmap, add more role-playing elements, etc.

So, about a month ago some of the veteran members of the community (Salan, Unkn0wn, me, Draygon, Catinhat, GamerAndy, APEX, and DaysofWar) decided to launch a community-run campaign that would add more roleplaying aspects to the game and also create interesting special rule situations to spice up the gameplay.  Thus "The Last Stand" (TLS) was born.

TLS isn't really a mod mod, because it doesn't change anything in EiR.  It instead adds a warmap and a campaign element to the game.

Our eventual goal is to be able to do more with editing the actual EiR game itself, but that is something for the future.

In the meantime, if you head over to www.laststandmod.com you can sign up and choose a side to start playing.

I recommend you tell people you are new and then play a few 1v1 games first to get the hang of it.

So is does the map have a start and end date and or is the map just fought over with out end? So basically what I am asking does one side or the other win the war.
