Actually the main reason is that I won't have time to play anymore. I'm a med student, and in roughly five months I have a huge exam so it's time to cut loose.
Unlike what you may think, I am not wholly satisfied with my game. A year ago my APM (actions per minute) was about 45% higher. Vehicle micro has suffered in particular. I used to be able to lay out vehicle queue orders twice as fast and more accurately. Reaction speed is also worse. I was more accurate in predicting enemy movement that doesn't involve sound cues. Most importantly I make more mistakes(some of you know what I think about mistakes). The 9 month break from CoH/EiR took its toll. Somehow I've compensated by playing smarter but the fact that I don't care enough to take the micro side back I see as a sign to move on.
If fldash decides to come back and finish 2.0 including the new factions, automatch and dynamic pricing my interest might get revived some time in the future.
OMG if you actually play the game like that then I don't see how you could have been having fun. It sounds more like a math problem or a job
