This whole thread has gotten ridiculous. It's quite sad to see some of the newer members of this community act so brazenly towards old-timers who have been here and seen the mod from it's launch. Get real man, if anyone should be on that balance team it is people who have stuck it out for better or for worse.
I agree; I believe we need people who know what they're doing. I'd like to help in anyway I can, but I don't have the skill or experience to really handle the job. The problem I see with this thread is; Its most definately a popularity contest. I think Fl- has been around with alot of these people and he should pick the ones he wants.

I was trying very hard to give an honest impression of people outside the confines of the popularity consideration. I did miss one or two people (thetacommander for instance) and I did mostly pick people that have had the fortitude to stick this out for over a year on an almost daily basis. Nomination threads are always sadly revolving around who you know and why you know them, it is hard for anyone to ultimately detach themselves from the situation enough to be honest about every possibility. ow that's one of the longest posts I've ever seen Salan make in quite some time :p.
I was going to break it up into individual messages, then it wouldn't have been so big, but its rather well laid out the way it is presented .. and dash taught me to write clear short concise messages, sometimes its not the way to go though

Salan even if its a popularity contest, I do know you'd do a good job. I mean from what I know of some members; there could be a good twenty people who could do the job well. All I know is I nominate *Salan *Gamerandy *Unknown *Draygon

Hmm I have been around a long time, so from my experience I would nominate: Salan Unknown (every team needs the eternal pessimist ) Ak Kolath Apex These are just the people I know have the most experience here and have always had the best interest of the mod in mind. Honorable mention goes to: Commandernewbie Stumpster Draygon Nevyn These are also people who strike me as wanting what is best for EiR and the only reason I don't put them in the first list is a lack of regular activity (from what I see, this may not be the case of course) I think once Fl- decides on the people with access to the prices they should nominate whom they think is best to have access to the mySQL files. Also Thtb should have the tie break vote in all cases

I'm happy to help where I can. Though my only worry is that I'm not very good so I'm not sure how much I can do balance-wise. (Though I have some ideas for things that are OP )

Wow that's one of the longest posts most readable posts I've ever seen Salan make in quite some time :p.
Fixed for you. I'd like to see those who ran TLS get access to pricing. They've obviously got continued interest in the modification, and it was through TLS that we got a fresh look at current EiR pricing.

I think whoever gets to do it, must also wants to play it. Working on something and not seeing yourself on the outcome of the work is BS in my opinion. In other words, dont get someone that doesnt care to play Eir to make the changes.
For instance riflemen - volksgrenadier pricing. Should it be 170 for both ? And if you make the change, you should be one of those to thoroughly test it. Don't expect from the community to do the dirty job for you :p Of course they will, but you have also great responsibility in doing it.
I couldnt really suggest someone, i think it should be a group of people that do it, so to minimize how biased someone can be.

This is my question:

in his first post he stated phase 1 is pricing, and might later expand to other areas as in rgd editing and scar coding.. those would be assumed to be phase 2 or 3 if they come about.
